Looking on the app I can set up a personal trainer session, change the trainer and location, but, I can’t see the person or get much in the way of their credentials . I would like to see how many sessions are left, when my contract expires, and transaction history on the app. It’s really cumbersome having to log into the website then log into the app!!
App is trash. I’ve reset my password on my computer several times to try and log in on the app and every time it tells me it’s incorrect. Fix it please.
Lack of any design, barebones app. No information on current gym capacity and no way to book a workout time.
Why do I now have to give location permission to simply display my membership card for entrance? So where I use to be able to simply display the card through the app, it will no longer do it unless I give location permissions. This is a joke. Now I will be forced to interact with someone at the desk every time I want to enter instead of simply scanning in myself.
The home page for a mobile app is designed in a way that is too overwhelming. The first thing I want to see when I open the app is my barcode so I can sign in. That’s it. I have no way of seeing what my membership level is, only what is offered to me, and no way of knowing how to change it. The pathways to get to each individual “bucket” is confusing. The app needs an overall glow up visually so a user can navigate more functionally and with ease.
There’s not benefit to having a app if no one at la Fitness updates it. I found out my local Gym reopened through a friend. No word on when billing will resume. Getting screened every time I enter. The gym wasn’t opened Sunday morning. Like the old restaurant maxim goes “Its not home many come in it’s how many come back.”
The app is randomly now not functioning on my phone and I can't fix it. The home screen is frozen and I can't access anything. I tried reinstalling the app and it didn't work.
Hot summer wet garbage is better than this app. Hardly use usability. They updated it for the pandemic and won’t work. Reset it and still doesn’t work. At the gym they’re unable to activate my account even though I’ve been a member since 96. The app is a total reflection of LA Fitness, dirty place that just doesn’t care.
