Kwik Kontrol's Today Extension allows you to quickly see what's playing and pause or skip videos on your Kodi device simply by pulling down your Notification Center, saving precious time over opening a fully fledged app!
When nothing is playing, the widget contracts in size in order to avoid taking up unnecessary space in your Today section.
Kwik Kontrol's Apple Watch app allows you to control your media center without even picking up the remote. See what's playing, pause or skip through your media, and navigate the device's user interface right from your wrist!
Automatic discovery and manual settings didn't connect to Kodi media server.
Looked promising but never would connect. Used auto locate and manual.
Connects and the button interface works fine, however it crashes on the now playing screen making this useless once you've started watching something.
The widget needs to be centered inside of the Notification Center. This would allow for a better universal user experience. I'd also consider adding the direction controls in the Notification Center as it appears on the Apple Watch. That would be an interesting shortcut addition. Thanks for your time and attention.
connecting was very easy, but the controls could stand to be more responsive. Play/pause works well, but back, directional, and select tend to take several taps before working.
I've tried several and so far this is the only one that worked.
It's not even listed as something I can add it to the notifications.
