Awesome. The continued adventures of Kubo.. I love this match3 game! Lots of fun. And George Takei's VO and character is hilarious. I recommend this game for all Kubo and match 3 game fans! Good job to the hard working team at Fifth Journey! Looking forward to your next game.

Used to be fun...

Update: they fixed the freezing issue, so the developers are still invested in the game. But there are some game balance issues that lead me to think the game is on autopilot or at the “mature” stage of its life span. For one, there seem to be no more common origami. They are all “rare” now so no need to buy premium boxes since the common boxes upgrade your “rare” origami. Huh? Next, the Epic or Legendary origami never level up unless you get the Premium Event Box that costs 200 jewels. Who can afford that? And while these are helpful at the beginning of the game, they eventually become less so against stronger opponents. The rewards appear to be completely random. Often, the large pouch has no more rewards than a small pouch and the silver or gold box just shows up on a whim. Would have been nice if they aligned with how skillfully you completed a match. Finally, it takes months to level up your main 2 or 3 origami because the game randomly spits out so many lower level origami that you will never use. Frustrating. Here is a grinding tip: go to the 1st fight in the Valley of the Sun. It is a fairly easy match to win and it’s quick. Again, I have been doing this for months and have only got my main origami to level 7. Original: Was an interesting game at the beginning. But now the game freezes up far too frequently right when you have successfully completed a match. The ads for things like the $49.9, "one time" Destiny pack are becoming more frequent and aggressive. And the rare, epic, and legendary origami that they promote in these packs only help you in a handful of matches. They have changed the parameters of the game such that most of the time you are getting one or two stars for each match, so just a small sack with a few coins. In addition, the end matches to get to the next level are ridiculously hard, making it very difficult to proceed in the game without buy gems so that you can continue. Not fun anymore.

Forgets progress & crashes often

I really like this movie and stumbled on this while looking for a match 3 game. I'm on day 3 of playing and it's a lot of fun. HOWEVER the game just forgot my last session's progress for the umpteenth time! It frequently crashes after running ads as well... which also loses your progress. This is extra awful when you finally got the right random piece to upgrade a character.

Best game

Great

It's easy, it's hard, it's replayable! Had the app before the movie came out. Love that the community keeps up with it too. New chapters and creatures. My girlfriend is playing it too! So yeah....anybody can get into it. The new Easter thing looks awesome, But this new Easter update ruined everything. I still have 0 eggs, and every box I get is wasted away. Don't even get to see it. Patch update: Coming in hot!! Pleaaase. So this can continue being a 4.5 star game

Fun

The levels are different enough to keep it interesting. A little buggy though.

Great to see the magic of the film reenvisioned into a game.
