not really kubb

olvegrn

Unfortunatly, this game just has the first part of kubb. It does not include gameplay where you must toss out knocked over kubbs and hit them before hitting basekubbs. Not worth the dollar.

Incomplete

bob3902

A major chunk of the game is missing. This is simply tossing each the battons at the kubbs on each other's base line. They forgot the main part of the game... the tossing of the kubbs back into the opponent's feild and having to knock those down first. They shoun't be able to name this game "Kubb" if they're not going to follow the official rules. I want my money back.

Needs help

This game could be a great game to play if it were the real game. The middle of the game is missing. So maybe update it? I would love to play it when Its the full game.

Doesn't work...

Patchumz

I can only hit my own kubbs.. Opponent can hit mine too... Super buggy.

Not bad

Jaybird6328

This is good, but would be really really fun if the game rules were right, the blocks should always stay in play if I knock 2 of his blocks over he must throw them then knock them before mine if he does I throw his back over... If that wasn't missing this could be a top game

I Love To Play Kubb!

(CRASHDOG)

Of course, no video game of Kubb could ever live up to playing the real outdoor game on a nice summer day.....that's a given. However, just the fact that there's even a video game of Kubb is a pretty neat. I used to not care for this game very much because it only had the "short version" option (which is that the kubbs get removed from gameplay after being knocked down once in the field). Now that the update has given us the option to play the "long version", which is the REAL way to play, it's definitely better. I wish the throwing batons had a more real feel to them when being thrown, and I wish that the pieces fell more naturally, but it is what it is. The easiest way to explain both the graphics and gameplay is to compare it to an Atari 2600 game. It's still nice to play once in a while, especially on a rainy day when you can't go out and play the real game, but unfortunately it doesn't keep my interest for very long. There's no doubt that better graphics and game piece movement would improve this. But still......Kubb on a video game?! Who would have thought??? Kudos to Johan Axelsson for introducing the ancient game of Kubb to the electronic app generation!

A good game for before bed!

Having never played Kubb in real life myself, I was unsure of what to expect. It took me a few tries to get it right, but it is a little like bowling, so intuition took over by about the third game. This game is just simple enough to pass the time and occupy my mind before I go to sleep, and I appreciate how simplistic the graphics are. I have been looking for some good bedtime games that aren't too busy or colorful. It's easy on the eyes, and quite hypnotizing. Totally worth 99 cents. I would love to see a "night mode" version of this game.

Not a bad game for a beginner like me. But it would not let me change from long to short game. Wish I could really learn the game.
