★ Features ★

➜ EXERCISES

With Kopfnuss, you can practice basic arithmetics, the rule of three, percentage calculation, roman and square numbers and calculating basic sums of money.
Each exercise contains ten problems. Take your time solving them, there's no time limit. If you get one wrong, Kopfnuss will show you the correct answer and ask the same question later again.
Some exercises take approximations for an answer. These are identified by "≈" preceding the result. A 5% spread is perfect, a 10% spread is the permitted maximum.
You can choose the level of difficulty for all exercises. If hard is no more challenge to you, Kopfnuss will increase the level of difficulty. If your score withers, the problems get easier again.

➜ TIME TRIAL - Ready for a challenge?

Time: 90 seconds.
Math problems: one by one until you run out of time.
Rules: credits for correct and quick answers, if you answer incorrectly, points will be deducted.
Award: Highscore list entry and trophies on your own device. And you can publish your score on Facebook!

➜ USER MANAGEMENT

Share Kopfnuss with your family, your roommates, your best friend – the app provides user profiles for each and everyone.
Kopfnuss remembers the number of correct and false answers for everyone and their highscores and trophies respectively. To edit users or to add new people just tap the name on the start screen to enter the user management.

➜ STATISTICS

Kopfnuss remembers how many problems were solved right or wrong.
For every user, difficulty setting and kind of exercise. The gathered data is rendered into an attractive chart - combined or separated by exercises - that way you can review your progress from first use to the present day.

Best math app ever!
MorningBroker

Had tons of fun already. My kids love it. Posting results on facebook works great. I've tried a lot of math apps but this one rocks most.

Fun!

A fun, friendly app to keep your mind sharp, quick and flexible. I particularly like that you can keep statistics over time.

Everyone should try this

What a great way to get one's couch potato brain of its couch with some number nut cracking! The app is beautifully executed, progressively more difficult problems are well chosen, and getting them right gives a neat sense of ackomplishment. Well done!

Love this app!

What a fun way to jog one's brain! I love the variety and the time trials are great. As a teacher though, my favorite thing about this app is the chalkboard design. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who is looking to exercise their brain, practice math skills (awesome for school-age kids!) and just general math geeks.

Fun brain excersise!

Fun way to practice math

I am not gifted with numbers, but I have found this game to not only be a great way to review my basic math facts, but just a fun way to challenge myself. My kids (5 and 9) also enjoy this more than flash cards or verbal quizzes, but they usually only play it when I ask them to. The best use I have made of it however, was when practicing basic multiplication with 3rd graders in a pull-out session at school. The three students I was working with were so excited to play an iTouch game at school and see how many points they could get in the multiplicaiton time trial setting. They were excitedly looking on shouting out answers to whomever was currently taking a turn.

Great app

You can say it's a game, how about game center compatibility?
