This app was awesome!! Gave us a route that kept us off roads the whole time and gave very direct and simple to follow instructions that showed up on my Fitbit blaze! Definitely recommend.

Komoot is just what I was looking for. It is very easy to use and has great results. I can use it for running, hiking, bicycling and horseback riding. Love it!!!

Routes are decent, but not really any better than google maps app. The Apple Watch app is pretty much useless and the notifications you get on your watch are often 100-200 feet late for your turn which is a huge pain when biking. No auto pause also leads to poor mph averages when on roads since there are lights that count as 0 mph for 4-5 minutes of the ride. Directions are also confusing. There's no turn now only 250 feet which there are often multiple turns within the 250 feet. I usually try to listen to the street name but about 50% of the time the street name is either pronounced incorrectly or not pronounced at all by the voice for the directions. I wish there was a solid app for biking, but it looks like I'll have to invest in a gps of some sort for my riding since this app is not great and google maps doesn't allow custom routes on phones any more.
