Kodiak Viewer

The Kodiak Viewer from Comanche Outfitters allows users to wirelessly access and control their Kodiak Series Cameras directly from their iOS device. Once the app is installed, it can be used to scan for nearby cameras, then connect to cameras that are within range. Once connected, the app gives users the ability to adjust camera settings and view/download photos that are stored on their camera. Once a user downloads the desired photos to their iOS device, they are then free to share them via e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, or text message. I love this app and the kodiak camera. It's so easy to use! Just pull up the app, connect to the camera and download my pics. There's nothing better then not having to disturb the area, get my scent on the trail and pull the SD card. I love not having to plug my SD card in the computer anymore.

Love being able to control the cameras from my phone. I check the every couple days, and it's really cool being able to adjust the sensitivity depending on how many pics I'm getting. Battery indicator is also really helpful

This app really helps me when I'm in my tree stand. I get to see some pretty high quality pics and videos with ease. It's simple and quick! Love it!

I tried for three hours but was never able to connect long enough to see the list of pictures on the camera. The software kept crashing or losing connection to the camera. The concept is great but the software is clearly not ready yet.

This might be the worst UI in an mobile app ever. The physical instructions that come with the product are spartan to be charitable. The app provides no feedback, no instructions, and everything I know thus far has been through trial and error. I really want this product to work, but I’m one day away from sending it back and demanding a refund. I will call support and update my post.

While they have a very novel concept. Their app is buggy and slow. Cumbersome. I'm hoping they will work out the kinks soon. Speed up the interface with the camera and update firmware on camera to speed up wifi interface. Unfortunately it is faster and easier to just yank the SD card and read it like any other. Come on Kodiak. You got me to buy one. Won't be another unless you guys work on speed and connectivity issues.
