I realize this product is young so it’s going to be lacking some features and buggy, hence the 3 stars rather than 1 or 2. Not sure why there is a 5 minute timeout on app streaming, it’s super annoying and makes it completely useless as a monitor if you have to hit a button every 5 minutes. The base station has good and bad nights. Sometimes it can’t even get a signal, others it never drops it. Still hopeful for this product.

Please fix the time out after a few minutes. Many parents would like to use their phone as a second parental monitor. Also whatever change you made recently to change the sound streaming, please revert to the old version. The normal sound is extremely low and when there is a sound made it jacks up the volume. Crazy annoying. Thanks!

The app freezes regularly and has to be forced closed often. The video stream buffers often. Main use for this baby cam is to use the parent device, which is nice. If you’re looking for a full WiFi cam, I suggest the Nest.
Doesn’t work outside the house

You’re supposed to be able to check the monitor away from your house. Even when I’m on Wi-Fi it always says off-line. I’ve tried getting tech-support and nobody’s can seem to help me.

I prefer to use the monitor that comes with the camera. My child isn’t a newborn and I don’t have to have it tethered to me. With that being said I love the WiFi option that let’s me check in on her when I’m in another room other than my bedroom. It’s an added peace of mind I cannot get the app to auto record movement, which is what I expected. I’m going to do some more research, but right now the app is only telling me what’s happening right now.

Bought this earlier in the week. Set it up and the picture is so horrible, you can’t see anything. Not that it matters because the base unit craps out every couple minutes. I will be sleeping in my baby’s room tonight and returning this ASAP.
Buggy app can’t even setup

During the configuration set up The app is saying I’m not connected to a 2.4 WiFi network. I am!!!I’m unable to register/setup my camera (C525). Something happened this last release because it worked before. Please test your app before you release it. Now we don’t have a camera in my newborns room. Thanks Kodak. I will not be purchasing another product from you.

At $85 this camera is awesome! I bought it three weeks ago and the setup was simple. It does everything as advertised! The poor reviews must be phony, or the users are idiots.
