Reviews

Useful tools, but missing features.
-_-_-_-_*_-_-_-_-

This is a really helpful app for calculating frame rates and time, but the older version had a sunrise/sunset calculator that I used on basically every outdoor shoot. This feature is missing on this version and it’s a real shame.

regretably different
_cSb_

this new version of the app has lost so much of the functionality that i relied upon before. no more film stock references and very little online support. now the only real useful part is the film footage calculator.

Great!

I’m a proud father of three full grown empowered women. We don’t have much to talk about these days besides my wife’s tulip bed that is regularly raided by the neighborhood rabbits so that no tulip bulbs have managed to bloom in the last ten years. This app saved my marriage and my relationship with my kids. Now all we talk about is what the depth of field on our favorite lenses. I’m even thinking of buying Kodak film and I’ve never seen a camera before. Thank you Kodak and God bless you:)

iOS 11 is toxic fascism
slrabman

worthless in smart phone format and no solar calculator

iOS 11 Support (Edited)
AnalogInterface

EDITED POST: Kodak has updated their app to be iOS 11 compatible and I could not be happier. Updating was a breeze, and the new minimalist design is quite modern. DoF and the Film Calculator are sleek and intuitive. 5/5 ORIGINAL POST:This is a wonderful app, however, the lack of 64-bit support means it no longer works for those who upgrade to iOS 11. Please recompile Kodak. The app is wonderful, and it would be a shame to lose access to such a helpful app

Functionality in DOF calculator
Cinefelippe

Before the recent update when you entered in a new distance it would automatically enter a new digit when you type. Now you need to delete the previous calculations and then enter a new one. Little gripe but I liked it better before.

Please update!
Babadook1981

Edit: Finally works in iOS 11, thank you!

Poorly designed. Poorly thought-out.
JKJKJK333

Lame. Badly designed. Default format is S8. Lab info horribly designed and hard to read (iPhone X). Film ordering form makes no sense — it asks for how many minutes the film is (making one assume ratios can be entered and calculated). Why not tell novices how many minutes a roll of x lasts Typical Kodak...
