The Knowji apps are really great in helping English learners build their vocabulary. It has helped me so much that I decided to buy all the Knowji apps so I can have all the words Knowji teaches. I love how the app has so much information for learning a word, including pictures, audio, examples, synonyms, antonyms, and more. Totally worth the money! Thank you Knowji for this great app!!
Overall very good, but needs some tweaks.

I've been using knowji for about 6months now and i have no issue with it, the app is well designed and is very effective for learning and memorizing new words. I know that my suggestion would be somehow irrelevant to the app's main function which is to learn new words, but i believe it would be perfect if the developers would arrange a method for using the new words in sentences to reinforce the learned words. I wanted to give the app 5 stars as it deserves it, but the fact that you can not sync your progress between devices or somehow backup your progress, made me to think twice and request developers to add syncing feature.
Does not support landscape iPad orientation

Most people use iPads in landscape because it is much more comfortable to prop it up on the folded Smart Cover than to hold the device in portrait. But this app only runs in portrait on iPad, making it very inconvenient for iPad use. For example, my exercise bike allows me to use my iPad in landscape, but does not hold it properly in portrait. Developers: Please add landscape orientation support as soon as possible.

This app is complete. It has everything you need to buildup your vocabulary and learn new words. With every new word, there are audio,picture, fun story, example, synonym, antonym, uses, and you can record your voice to match the word's pronunciation ! Moreover, there are 4 type of quizzes that can make your memorize the words and remember it. It is well worth the money and the only reason some people don't utilize it is that people, me included, are too lazy to learn! But never again.

I wanted to build up my vocab since many years ago but had to wait when I had time. It is now. I want to read but also want to write. This one makes you learn and remember how to use it and its spelling. Each word is associated with a funny cartoon, the use in sentences, etc. It shows the developer's intelligence and their being extremely thoughtful. I cannot wait for their next product.
