Get it cause it’s about knots?? All puns aside this has made it way easier as an outdoorsman to learn and teach basic knots for camping and fishing.

Great App Leaves Very Little to be Desired...

... Except Ever More Knots! One of the 1st apps that I purchased, it has the right knot for almost any situation. I was once stuck in deep sand with a 6000lb Tug aircraft mover. We brought our 10,000lb Eagle and heavy rope. Just as we were going to pull it with a “clusterF knot”, somebody who knew knots arrived. He asked, “How are you going to untie that?” I had planned to just cut the nylon triple wound rope when he unlashed the CF knot and tied a “I don’t remember what he called it” knot under the beams of the headlights. With both equipment at full throttle, the rope straining almost to breaking point, we pulled/drove out of the sand. Our Rope Savior simply “broke” the knot in half with his hands and it just fell apart; loose and easily untied. I’m looking for that knot right now in this latest version. I hope it’s here or will be added in the future. Thanks for the great info app!

This is one of the first apps I downloaded when in got an iPhone in 2009 and it's still on my phone, having survived many "app purges" for more space. I don't use it often, but it's been extremely helpful several times over the years.
Great Learning App

I've used this since the first release way back when. They have kept the app updated and it runs smoothly. I love the clear diagrams and the descriptions of the usage and characteristics of the knots. This app loads quickly and has clear diagrams. I can practice my knots where ever I am. Plus my request that the water bowline get added was answered! A great example of a simple great app.
Awesome app for beginners!
Knot novice, but not for long
I'm a complete novice when it comes to knots, but the step by step pictures had immediate effect. The explanations of what the knots are used for helped me determine what I wanted learn next! Highly recommend it!
Excellent reference for knots

This guide is simple to use, well written with clear illustrations. The full version, for me at least, has every knot I could ever use. Well worth the purchase.
