Love it

I’ve used this handy little app for years. Simple to use and avoids yet more math to make evenly spaced increase and decreases. Love it?

Thank you!!! For years, I've been waiting for someone to build an app that would do this. Most basic and low-end patterns are fairly good about increase/decrease spacing, but advanced patterns, or ones translated from other languages, often say things like "inc from 93 to 114 st in the following row." I'm a Ph.D. astrophysicist, and it _still_ makes me crazy (mostly because it's mental work I don't want to have to do). Thank you for finally getting around to this, and making every knitter's life easier. :)

Great start!

It's 2010

I've been using an Internet site to do these calculations for some time now ... and now I can do it on my phone! I've checked the math and it seems right on. For the next version I would reccomend the ability to email or at least copy/paste the calculated instructions. If this was available now I would have given 5 stars. Kudos 

Stitch count needed

I would like to see "Guide Me" display a running stitch count so I can tell where I'm at -- I tend to forget to click the clockers to count stitches and rows. Also, a sleeve increase/decrease calculator would be very welcome addition to this (or as a companion product). As it is it is very useful. Thanks for your ingenuity.

Fabulous!

Wonderful app! I've used it calculate decreases and love the options available; you can choose whether you want your decreases evenly spaced or in an easy to remember pattern. You also can choose whether you want it for flat or in the round knitting. The "Guide Me" feature is wonderful; it will break down the decrease/increase pattern in chunks keeping track for you as you knit. I am thrilled with this app.

This is brilliant!

What a time-saver! I just started knitting a dog sweater, of all things. My pattern tells me to evenly increase 4 stitches over the 40 stitches. Yes, I could have figured it out, but this is so easy. It tells me to (K8, M1) 4x, K8. How simple is that. And, it often sometimes gives you two different options. It also calculates for knitting flat and knitting in the round. Money well spent. I love it.

So simple

It does just what the title says. Gone are my days of math, checking, counting, recounting, and being frustrated because it just didn't work right. I now can put in the number of stitches I have and how many I need to increase. This app will guide me through two options. Easy to remember, yet evenly spaced or, guide me through with a more accurate spacing. JKnits is another "must have" app, developed by the same person, A KNITTER! Both apps are worth the money spent.

Brilliant. You deserve a prize!

I am not a paid reviewer or employee. I am an average knitter. I go to my husband who has an engineering degree and say, "I have a knitting math problem" and his eyes glaze over because he knows that he is never going to come close to what I'm looking for. This app solved the problem. Though I was able to, with minimal loss of hair, figure it out... I would request to have an option for picking up stitches as well. That is the one that throws me most often. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You are my hero app of the week.

Thank god !!

"Increase evenly across row". Words that strike terror in my heart. Having a tool that will solve that problem is brilliant!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Very helpful

This is a great app for a knitter who likes to modify patterns to taste. I had a beret pattern that stared and ended the round "k1fbx4" and was k1fb, k1 the rest of the round. I didn't like the purl ridge created, or the asymmetrical increase (to make it slouch to the back?). So I used this app to guide me through increasing 68 stitches around. Very easy to use and it worked wonderfully! The only thing I would like to see is to increase over several rows/rounds.
