Knit Counter Lite is a convenient way to store stitch counters and project information for a knitting project.

Knit Counter Lite allows you to create as many counters as you like and all counters are highly customisable. You can choose the name, the starting value and even link counters together, so one counter increments another. There's also an info screen for noting down the pattern name, yarn and needles used, or any other information related to the project.

Other features include a handy frog button that allows you to decrease a counter if you have to rip rows back, and increase/decrease alerts which can be set on specific rows so you never forget an increase or decrease row again.

Linked counters stop incrementing

It’s a nice counter and seems to work well except that a linked counter will suddenly stop Incrementing. The linked counter increments every two rows in my counter for a max of 20 times. After 15 times I have to increment it manually. Is this a way to get me to pay for the full app? Not working.

I prefer this to other free knitting apps available on iTunes. I especially like the handy feature to keep tabs of increases and decreases so that when you come to the second sleeve you know exactly how to make the sleeves identical -& to be able to personalize your counters. cool app

I just finished my 3rd project using knit counter lite and am buying the full version because it is so usefull. I can't imagine knitting without it. No more charts or missing increases or decreases. I love it!

I think of all the knitting apps I've tried, this one has the most promise because it is simple and intuitive. I like the fact it can be set to not go to sleep. What would make it even better would be the ability to add named alerts. I'd love to be able to set a pop up every 5 rows that says "cable row". I'm working on a pattern now with two types of cables, one that repeats every 5 rows and one that repeats on rows 3, 15, and 20... Being able to set different cable alerts would be so useful!

I'm using this app to help me when I'm increasing in a project. The project says to increase on the next row and every following 5th row. I told the counter I need to increase every 5 rows starting on row 1. By my count, I should then increase next on row 6, since that will make 6 rows for the first section of 5. The row counter wanted me to increase on row 5 after I had increases on row 1. I like the idea of being able to link projects together and all that, but I'm not liking how it's counting my rows.

I loved it until the recent update now all it does when I open it is crash please fix

This app was great until the last update and now it won't even open!! Please fix it, I'd like to see this version up and running before paying $$$ for the full version when I don't know if it will even open!
