Finally an app for all my klipsch devices

Blackoutking8

Just got my rw-1 and I will be using it with my amazon echo dot

So close to being awesome it's frustrating.

I love this thing and has so much potential. System is very unstable from a software perspective. If the update it keeps telling me I need was ever available might fix it but the update never works. System disconnects all the time. Great sound powering my elacs. Bad software. Hope the update comes through and will be much more stable aystem.

Maby the worst app ever created

I get to use this great sounding, EXPENSIVE speaker. It demands updates almost ever time I try and mostly give up. For every update it ask for the serial number on back that is microscopic. The sound is amazing the few times it works.

Speakers should not stop working every time there is a software ‘upgrade’

Jonisie

This update, just like the last, turns a perfectly working speaker into one that does not work at all. The last update required several hours work before the speaker was functional again. Why do you repeatedly release updates that do not work? I was perfectly happy with the original version. It’s a speaker. It should play music regardless of what updates are pushed through the apple store.

Please fix!

I love this app when it works. Unfortunately, more times than not, it drops a speaker or the music stops while it tries to reconnect. Not a great experience in the middle of a party.

Spotify users beware

Several capabilities are extremely limited when using Spotify. No zones and very difficult to use surround sound. The Klipsch support guy said “it would be fine if I used literally any other music service.” Then don’t advertise compatibility with Spotify...

I Expect More From Klipsch

This app is no where near what it should be from a company like Klipsch. I’ve had the same experience as others with dropped speakers, etc. Come on guys! Either figure it out, or make everything Bluetooth and drop the dts Play-Fi.

Horrible App/Streaming- great sound

tIggerjean

It’s really too bad that this amazing speaker can’t actually continue to stream music for longer than about 4 songs. The latest update made things WORSE! not better. Now the streaming refuses to connect with Pandora— and any music service- ie Sirius, Amazon, etc will only play about 4 to 5 songs before it stops — indicates that it is trying to “reconnect” — but requires that the app be totally closed and opened again before allowing play. Speaker sound is amazing— we have 4 smaller, 2 medium & 2 large speakers— fortunately only the 4 smaller ones are the ones we would desperately like to use with the streaming app. Sad that we have so much invested & have to consider never purchasing this brand again because of the play/compatibility issues. These are not new issues — it’s been ongoing for well over a year — I had hopes they would fix it - long ago, but clearly they do NOT invest in getting help with what they do not know about — apps & streaming technology. The one star is because of the speaker sound - not the app capabilities/functionality.

Last update made it better

The app used to not work and take a series of closing it out and reopening before it would stream internet radio. Now it seems to be fixed, so I’m giving it 4 stars.

Great hardware; very weak software

They call it the future of streaming music cause it sure ain’t the present. Even freshly updated I have to reboot the PowerBridge multiple times a day to keep it paired with my phone, and even then it sometimes can’t find the device. Very frustrating, to say the least. I love that I can stream local radio, though, that is a plus when it works. Now, about incorporating Apple Music into the app... never mind.
