Create up to 8 synthesizers at once and control them with a keyboard or a 16-part step sequencer. Fine-tune your sounds with a dynamic compressor and a 10-band graphic equalizer. Finally, share your creations via email or AirDrop.

Making a new synthesizer is easy: just add modules with a double-tap and wire up your architecture by dragging between connectors. Available modules include:

OSCILLATORS
Sine, Square, Sawtooth, Triangle, Noise, Ring

FILTERS
Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass, Allpass, Notch, Peak, Formant

ENVELOPES
Linear, Quadratic

EFFECTS
Fuzz, Comb, Echo, Bitcrush, Auto Gain

LOW-FREQUENCY OSCILLATORS
Sine, Square, Sawtooth, Triangle, Linear Trigger

ARITHMETIC
Add, Subtract, Multiply, Convolution

So much potential!!!

I love how simple it looks and the sounds it can produce. I would wish it would explain things more because I'm still really confused about the mechanics.

Wonderful Synthesizer!

This is without a doubt an amazing synth and my favorite synthesizer app at the moment. There are only a few minor issues I would like to point out to the developer or any beginners. Dragging the modules is sometimes difficult and glitchy. Naming and sorting patches should have a better interface. The keyboard should be redesigned in my opinion, maybe having different modes of a piano layout, a chord layout, and the current layout. Zooming should be reworked in some manner that is less limiting. While this may seem like a long list, this app is one hundred percent worth your time. Great work to the developer!

interesting, but has usability issues

modular instruments are always going to be more fun and rewarding, but this one has some issues that make it difficult to recommend. sliders are ok for input, but the UI doesn't update in real time so you are left wondering exactly where you are dragging on the slider. the keyboard is basically useless. the sequencer input just shows on/off, you have to drag to see a note name. this is really a poor way to program sequences. the minimal UI is better than some overwrought stuff, but it feels a little cold. overall i think this would be a frustrating and obtuse introduction to modular synths, and if you already know what you are doing there are more complete and functional modular synth apps. looking forward to more updates!

Very happy

I love this app. The GUI does need work; the other reviewers should be heeded. For example, the sliding gesture needed for note tuning and meter, which, I gather, the developer wanted to make a time-saving use of the capabilities of this device format, has not panned out so well. As implemented, without much in-app reminder-level help, data entry is actually kind of slow while being opaque to new users. We get a keyboard, such as it is, but it can only serve the purpose of triggering sound to audition patches in development. It does not help for actually playing music. Etc. This instrument will not be easy for modular beginners, but, at the same time, learning it is not hard. Adding guidance in the app, being clearer about how one makes and when one can make changes within blocks, making modulation connectors more obvious and plentiful, adding velocity and gate adjustments and automation tools, adding a real keyboard with mod and pitch wheels - these are mainly baseline-level, uncomplicated additions that would make many more people see the worth of this app. Sound generation and sequencing are real strengths here. The sequencer is simple and ample, with plenty of room for full synthesizer compositions. The sound quality is good, and there is enough variety in the modules to design intricate voices. Thanks to the developer for including nonobvious but very welcome things like the formant and comb filters and convolution function. Some combinations could really do with some makeup-gain help, which I hope arrives in a future update. Of course, more modules would only make this a better app. Already, with flaws considered that I hope to see addressed, I am all in. Klankwelle has a lot good to recommend it and to build upon.

Powerful, but a bit tricky to use

This seems like a great synth app, it has some of the best features and truly acts like a modular synth, giving you full control over everything. The only problem I have is that the active touch-points on the controls and linkages are very small, so it’s hard to ‘grab’ onto anything to change it
