App crashes continually and I often have to unplug Kiwi to get it to connect. I also am disappointed that you can’t read PLX AFR in this app. You have to use MultiGauge app for AFR.

Got to love all the phony reviews for a app that does not perform as promised. Even better is when the negative comments get deleted. Stupid to have to enter a password every time you change modes. Even stupider is it will not let you monitor gauges while recording to the sim card. Still cannot get all the functions, they say coming soon. BTW PLX you owe me a micro sim card, I see you Re now sending them, I pId same price and did not get one so either refund me some money or send me a sim card.

PLX quality has really gone downhill. I was impressed by their earlier version that used the Kiwi 2 hardware. This one with the Kiwi 4 is so flaky that I wonder why they released it. The gauges work ok, but it won't read engine check codes reliably without crashing. The app just disappears. I've tried it on several cars and the result is always the same. I've never been able to clear a code with this latest version. PLX support doesn't answer questions, online support is not helpful. I wasted $150 on this useless device and app.

This app, if you want to call it that, is a great way to add frustration to your day. Takes about two minutes to connect to kiwi 4 and before you know it, it disconnects. The calibration and setup features result in one and only one feature; application freezing or just spinning forever. Support is non existent. I emailed, I created a support ticket.. nothing I called during business hours and got a message to call back during business hours. Nice! Well, they left me with one option. Return kiwi 4 back to Amazon and uninstall this “app”

App opens, connects and gauges work well but every attempt to scan or delete codes results in the app crashing.

App connects and displays data fine, but the UI relies on small, even tiny UI elements, that are pretty much useless for my 74yo father. Also, the app seems to not rotate on either his, nor my iPhone, to allow mounting in a position that allows the phone to be plugged in to for power in either of our vehicles.

The app won’t connect with any of my Kiwi OBD devices. Not with the 2s, the 3s, or the 4s. Other apps will: Dash Command and Harry’s Lap Timer to name but two. So the software will not even work with its own hardware. Utter rubbish. This is not my first such experience with PLX Devices. They made arguably the worst portable batteries ever produced, and the flashlights are questionable. With this software they have found a way to ruin the previously reliable Kiwi, their one worthwhile product. If they had any sense of honor this company would shut down.
