I love this app, not!!

Love this app! Radio is a free medium to the end user but KIRO has decided to 'charge' listeners using their app. When I press play, I get a video ad. I sleep my phone and put it in my pocket. When the ad ends the app does not automatically roll over to the current show. No, instead I have to take the phone out of my pocket and press play again. The only way around this is to watch the ad. It's radio, there is no watch. Excellent feature! Pushy notifications. I don't want notifications, why do I have to tell you that multiple times a day? Can't you just understand I don't want notifications and leave it at that? No, you have to block access to the app, and listening, until I press 'Not Now' yet again. Moneymaker! When listening to a show I often open Safari and peruse the articles. The KIRO app doesn't like when I multi-task so it often stops playing requiring me to open the app and press play again. When changing Safari pages the app often goes silent, again, requiring multiple shenanigans to read the news while listening to the app. A rich multimedia experience! I am giving you my ears and attention when listening via the app instead of my Sonos or radio, neither of which requires me to jump through additional hoops. You can monetize my use of the app by adding the number of streaming users to your listening base, not by forcing advertising on me. In case you forgot, when listening via the app I get the same advertising a radio listener would get. Why do you feel I should be penalized and forced to listen/watch additional advertising when I'm the one doing you a favor by listening to your radio station when I'm away from my actual radio? Because I am nothing if not kind, I will give you one app update to correct this egregious error in judgement before dumping the app from my phone and KIRO radio from my life.

I have to deal with annoying 15-second commercials every time I start the app. Plus it crashes or freezes quite often, forcing me to restart the app. Most annoying when I'm in the middle of listening to something interesting.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. I never write app reviews but I want to listen to my news. If you don't mess with the app It will pause literally every 12 minutes. You can't just leave it playing and forget about it. Makes the app unusable. Previous versions I haven't had issues with. Needs multiple bug fixes
Keeps crashing

Listening to shows is extremely frustrating., lately it crashes about every 10-15 minutes. Can't listen to coast to coast at night with headphones while others are sleeping. Try to listen while working but too frustrating. Come on developers!

This app is terrible. Even with a decent internet connection the audio constantly cuts out. Really disappointing if you want to listen to a Seahawks game.

I’m stuck living in the opposite corner of the country and just want to listen to the audio of the football game (since I’m on the road). Tried this app last season and again today. It doesn’t. do. anything. Not sure why they have an app they haven’t made any effort to improve.

This app is pathetic! I would think that in this day and age you would want to spend the money to make your app work! The poor advertisers! I wouldn't write a review if your app only had occasional issues but literally it has issues almost daily! It's ridiculous.

KIRO keeps promising a fix. It doesn’t happen. KIRO keeps talking about “you need to download our app” on the air. Why? It keeps stopping. A radio station app, that stops every few minutes simply makes no sense.
