I have played through and beaten this game twice now, and getting ready to start again. It is a lot of fun. Anxiously awaiting an update with new levels.
Nice hidden gem . Im glad i came across this game . Its a real throwback into early 90's dos games. Worth the money .
"Dozens of missions" is more like 12 short levels that are all the same (only took 1 day to beat) and afterwards a freeze screen appears "to be continued" with no options for free play. There is no way to even fully level up (being that I picked up every gold coin and item on every map and the math doesn't even add up) I love old school strategy rpg's and this is not a good one
I currently am stuck on the task to find 400 mana. I've looked all through every level but can't find any more mana and I'm not able to advance until I find it. Help! Update: I had to go back to one of my old saves and replay the Elven Woods level without buying anything until I had 400 mana. Good thing I saved in multiple slots! That said, the game is unfinished. The game ends even though the pits you encounter throughout the game are never used.
I had a good time playing it. You need to save frequently, so you don’t lose your equipment you found. But that is just typical of rpg’s. I can’t wait to see what kind of a sequel they come up with.
