Not sure what the gripes are with some people: this is a freemium game and while you can spend money, I've had no issues with not spending money and still finish my daily missions and earn gold. You will progress slowly, but that's why I'm playing this daily. Word of advice: don't choose Shu kingdom at start, and do spend the 150 gold (50% off) on premium officer lottery daily. If you play the missions you'll earn far more gold. Also look at what officer combos top players use, and slowly build your ranks that way.

I've been playing for a year. The roll chances you get everyday are rigged. You'll honestly never hit the 500 gold. It's designed to skip it, even if it rolls perfectly and slowly to it, it WILL skip it. Thanks developer. You're truly the best.
