I absolutely loved this game for the first few levels, however, once you hit level 7, the difficulty spikes up hugely. It's still a great game, but I had to drop difficulty to casual after level 7, which I did not have to do with any of the other Kingdom Rush games. The progression system is also kind of slow, which encourages the player to spend real world money. Not great for a paid app, but you CAN beat the game without spending money. Overall, good, but of the 3 Kingdom Rush games, this is my least favorite, still the best series for tower defense on iOS by a mile.

I've beaten the first game on normal difficulty so I tried normal on this one. It was really hard so I changed to causal. I got to the first of the jungle levels. And I honestly think it is impossible. I've tried it so many times. With and without the things you can buy with diamonds at the store. It is so hard. The witch doctors are practically invincible. I can't get any stars now to upgrade. It is honestly impossible. I love the first Kingdom Rush, but this puts it in a bag and throws across a room. That's why I give it 2 stars.

Very great game, I absolutely love the way this game manages to keep the basics of the first game and combine them with newer features of the game! My only problem is that I just expected "more" from the game. Im not saying gameplay wise, but more quantity rather than quality. The game has less levels and less enemies than the original. I mean for a paid game I expected it to have more than the original, but that doesn't really ruin the game for me. The new hero leveling up and upgrading system is AMAZING. Although I really think you should have made the towers more powerful (DWAARP) and made the abilities cheaper. Otherwise great game and definitely worth your time!

Of all tower strategy game, kingdom rush and frontiers are the best. With smooth game play and a simplistic approach along with the seamless play to harder levels, they are simply the most enjoyable tower strategy games out there.

This is the best TD game I've played on iOS, and I've played many. Developers still update the game (August 2017), and continue to set the bar for iOS TD. Thanks, devs! Great art, music and gameplay with several challenging levels make for many fun hours spent saying "just one more."

Very fun, I still play it years in because there are many ways to mount a defense and it stays enjoyable. Great art and great strategy. I hope they make more!
