The intuitive controls and dynamic activities will keep children entertained while they learn. The multiple activities use sound effects and animation to keep children returning to the game to learn more.
Your child will learn Spanish words in the following categories.
- ABCs
- Animals
- Beach
- Numbers
- Sports
- Fruit
- Colors
- Shapes
When your child touches a picture, the animated screen will zoom in on the selected item and reveal the word. Your child will then hear the word spoken.

My 2 year old LOVES LOVES LOVES this app. ...and so do I! We're raising her to be bilingual so it's nice to have something to reinforce the vocabulary. The only problem I have found is that my Cuban Spanish is different than the Mexican Spanish in some words in this app but that's ok. Also, the world for "Pollito" is different in the audio than on the screen. If you update to reflect that issue, the world "pollito" is better than the one that is on the audio. Thanks so much, otherwise! This is GREAT!
This is a great and very easy app to use for my 2 and 3 yr olds whom we are teaching to be bilingual. I do agree with the other poster about the pronunciation of the word pollito but other than that it is great.
I like the app. And my kids like it but it keeps crashing my iPod wondering if anyone else is haveing similar problems .
My 2 year old lost interest with this app within a few days. My guess is that the pictures and "animation" aren't very interesting to her. I found the pictures and animation uncreative and sounds annoying. There are definitely better flash card-like vocab games out there. However your choices are limited in Spanish. Also, there were not many words for her to learn and the few categories presented were poor choices for early learners. I deleted this because of its poor quality.
Reported that #4 is misspelled and I got a reply that fix was coming...still waiting... Gets old fast, had potential but fell short. Save yourself the money, you work hard for it!
Have been looking for Spanish apps for 2 and 4 ye old and this is the best one si far. Would love to see additional categories added or the existing ones expanded
This children's app has wonderful integrated audio and clever artwork. Among the children's Spanish language apps I have reviewed, it stands out for its engineering and production values. Unfortunately, the developers left out the accent marks that are an essential part of Spanish spelling and pronunciation. To a Spanish speaker, it's as if they misspelled a lot of words. Since the iPad operating system supports Unicode, all they would have needed to do is lookup a few escape sequences, and figure out how to put them into character strings. They were only a few hours away from developing a really perfect app. Sadly, they failed. ¡Que pena!
