Great app!

The developers brilliantly combine Hebrew and English in this brightly colored, user friendly app. Both of my children (ages 3 and 7) enjoy it, even vie for a chance to use it, and it is an excellent learning tool in both languages. Children just learning words in their own language or those learning a foreign language will benefit from the multi-sensory approach to learning while they assume they are just enjoying a puzzle game. Our Hebrew school is planning to incorporate it into their curriculum! I look forward to future updates and apps from this developer!

Kids 1st shape puzzle – learn animals, alphabets, numbers! What a wonderful app for helping a child (or adult new to either language) learn Hebrew or English! You can choose either mode to work through puzzles and there is a puzzle section available for each language alphabet. The animations are colourful, engaging, and sure to assist new learners with fundamental skill sets like: matching, identification, and fine motor manipulation. I truly enjoyed this app as did the small ones who helped me "test" it:) I consider it a truly wonderful tool and a fun game with which to keep little minds and hands engaged ! LSAppleby

I feel this app is nice for teaching basic concepts like colors and numbers, as well as animal and food names. I wish that when the app is set for English that the alphabet was the English alphabet rather than the Hebrew one. Also, when set in Hebrew mode I wish that the program had an activity that taught the letters and their associated words (e.g, Alef-ohel, yud-yeled) prior to the letter-picture matching activity. Without already knowing the Hebrew alphabet this activity could be quite frustrating.
Great toddler puzzle app

This is definitely one of the better toddler age puzzle apps. It is nice that only one puzzle piece appears at a time. Nice variety with 16 puzzles to choose from. However, I feel the Hebrew alphabet category will be a useless category for most.
Good early learner puzzles

Kids 1st shape puzzle – learn animals, alphabets, numbers I like that there are a variety of puzzles and the pieces come up one by one. This is good, especially for a toddler or pre-school age child. The pieces move slowly, which would also be good for an early learner. I think an arrow to cycle between the puzzles instead of having to go to the main menu would be nice, but it is not absolutely necessary. The graphics are cute and the sound effects are appropriate for the puzzles. This is a great early learning app!

Kids 1st shape puzzle – learn animals, alphabets, numbers This app is wonderful! A variety of matching puzzles separated out by 16 categories. Match zoo animals, shapes, transportation, farm animals, instruments, colors, faces (emotions) just to name some of them. Kids Puzzle will help your child to develop vocabulary within categories. Definitely a good one and it has my ACTbyJackieBryla approval. It does have an in app purchase but should deter you from downloading this one!

I like this app, as does my two and a half year old, but it would be so much better if the alphabet was American when the setting is set on American. When my boy goes to the alphabet tab none of the symbols make sense and he quickly finds a different app to play with. Fix that, and it would easily be a 5 star app.
