The word to guess is represented by a row of dashes, giving the number of letters, category of the word and image of the word except for vocabulary category. If the guessing player suggests a letter which occurs in the word, the game writes it in all its correct positions. If the suggested letter does not occur in the word, the Pirate will move the child character one steps forward towards the ocean. The game is over when:
1. The guessing player completes the word, or guesses the whole word correctly
2. The Child falls in the open ocean.

Critical mama
Maybe it is because we have just started using this app, but there is a constantly popping up you tube app ad that I find annoying. My son loves it and it's challenging enough. He is 5 and an emerging reader who loves to spell. The walking of the plank is a fun twist on hangman.
Repeats too much

I was testing this out for my son and i only played three times before it started repeating. I could handle the ads if the game was better
Fun, but TOO many pop up ads

My 6 yr old enjoys the game, but there's an ad after every word solved. Too annoying and time consuming to minimize those ads!
