This app is wonderful with many subjects covered with in depth help as well as practice games that makes learning even more easier and fun. There are some bugs that I would very much love to be fixed. It would make this app a 5 star rating. Other then that, thanks for making this app possible. Can't see myself ever deleting it!
August Update Fixes NONE of These Previously Reported Problems

Khan Academy is an extraordinary achievement. Let's make it perfect. Course: Diff Calc, iPad3 1. Course Directory no longer highlights course chapter headers after completion. Now difficult / impossible to monitor progress. Serious. 2. Problem pages no longer carry separate link to the relevant video. This makes it impossible to review general subject matter without engaging the explicit solution tutor. Serious. Hiding the link under another control just confuses the student. 3. Graphics Editor still magnifies text font size every time the student edits it. Difficult / impossible to enter complex expressions in answer box. 4. Video sound track still continues after closing with some videos. 5. Search button on Diff Calc home screen finds videos but on some, (e.g., inverse functions) only the sound track plays. No video. 6. Erase button on pen control is no longer highlighted when activated. Impossible to know if state of pen is in write mode or erase mode.

I use this app for covering the biology course and it is very helpful. I have experienced a big problem though: I download videos when I'm online of course, and everything's works pretty good. However, later on when I'm offline and pausing/playing my saved videos, it gets slower and slower over time. Eventually it stops responding to my actions and I have to stop what I was doing; not good. Since I've also learned programming from KA, this looks a lot like a loop is running until it "breaks the app". This is the biggest problem for me, PLEASE take a look at it and I hope it's a someone fix. **Suggestion** If I'm offline and I watch 10 videos, that's 8,500 points. When I get back online, I don't earn those points. It would be great if the app kept track of how many videos I've watched, and reward my points when I'm back online. Please consider this idea!

This app is so great and it has sooo many topics I feel like I could learn anything on this app. And the best part about it is that it is completely free! No in- app purchases or subscriptions! You should defiantly get this app?

I'm 60yo. For decades I've seen our education system fail our children unless you are fortunate enough to be in a Private or Charter School system and that can be very expensive. I discovered Mr. Khan on 60 Minutes many years ago about his website, before the app and was one of the first apps I downloaded on my iPad and haven't looked back. It's now a family "required" learning tool from almost birth. Also a must for Home Schoolers. Especially proud Mr. Khan is now a part of the SAT's for college bound students. Bottom line, there's no excuse a child can learn almost everything they need to know and learn from preschool to and even thru college. This is for all ages and your only limit is YOU!!! Now go get smart(er)!
