The Khan Academy app is awesome, only with WiFi though. I downloaded “fractions” from pre-algebra to do in the car, and all it says is,”Cannot load, please try again later.” 1 I have downloaded 2 I have no WiFi Please fix this !!!!!!! Thanks

Great! but full of bugs

So I’ve been on this app for about a week. I took me a long time to find the right learning platform and I think Khan academy has it perfect! With that said the app has TONS of bugs! -The videos don’t stop playing when I exit it. I always have to go back to the video and pause it. -The practice question sections hardly ever load. -My bookmarks don’t transfer over from my iPad to my phone even when I’m logging into the same account. -the app crashes a lot, forcing my iPad to go to the lock screen for some reason. ———————————————————————- Not “bugs” but some frustrations: The UX for navigating a course could be a lot better. Right now if I’m in the middle of a course video, I have to back out from all other previous videos and course notes to get back to the main course navigation menu. I wish there was a quick navigation pop up that I can quickly skip ahead or behind to one thing or quickly go back to the course navigation. I mostly use this for studying math and I LOVE the fact that there’s a button I can press to over lay scratch notes (so I can do quick calculations by hand). But if I made a wrong turn in all of my calculations I have just a tiny eraser that I have to spend at least a minute erasing all of my scribbles. I wish there were at least a whip screen option on there. And if I could request a layer option? There does seem to be a lag on this feature too. using the Apple Pencil, all my “3” look like a backwards “C” most of the time. Online learning forums/apps like this IS the future of education. And if Khan academy can really nail it down I can see them being on the top. I really could see my self using this to teach my children in the future.

I had an issue with the back button in the app but you guys quickly worked to fix it! Thank you Khan Academy! I’ve changed the 4 star rating to a 5 star now. :) But please consider the following things mentioned below: 2) Allow users to download videos in high quality if they want to. I have enough storage and when I download Khan Academy videos, they’re always in very low quality, both audio and video. Give users the option to choose whether they want to save data and download in low quality, or if they can, download in high quality for offline use. 3) We can download videos to make them available for offline usage, but not articles. Why is that? Overall Khan Academy is a great tool to gain knowledge and it’s proven to be very helpful for a lot of people including myself.

A major problem with the app is that the buttons don’t respond. A lot of the time I have to exit out of the app and restart it in order to get something to work. Also, I had to watch a video 4 times in order for the app to detect that I had even watched it. I had once got a 100% on an exercise, but the app kept saying that I only got a 75%. I have since gotten a 100% on the same exercise multiple times, but the app continues to say I only have a 75% on it.
Please let me talk to other kids!
