For a $2000 speaker, every time I wanna listen it takes at least 5 minutes of rebooting Router, speaker, cellphone app to connect myself to it.

Crash crash crash and crash again. Can’t update speakers or change a single setting without you guessed it....CRASH!!!

It’s ridiculous that the main control app can’t connect to $2,000 speakers. On firmware 4.0 it’s impossible to upgrade firmware, change speaker settings for the KEF LSX as their app can’t find the speakers on this firmware - despite them being on the same stable Wi-Fi network that works perfectly for airplay and Spotify (and the app fortunately/unfortunately being able to find them on the original firmware 2.0).

This app is terrible. It can not connect to the speaker and this is after multiple attempts including multiple hard resets of the speaker and (just in case) the phone. The speaker is on the network, the phone is one the same network, but the app can’t find the speaker. This app is unusable.

Horribly unreliable and awkward to use. Hardly ever connects properly to speakers. Pretty much renders an otherwise nice speaker useless

The last update was so smooth. I could always and easily control my LS50. Now I can’t even connect to it at all :,((

Well...I’d hoped with all the updates since most of these reviews this would be fixed but this app and overall user experience with these speakers is horrible, I’m lucky if I can get an hour of airplay before I lose connection and I need to unplug my speakers to get it back. Downright unacceptable especially for a $1000+ set of speakers. Fix your app/firmware please, I can’t recommend buying these speakers to anyone based on my experience so far

The title says it all. Good hardware, very bad software. Flaky connection, slow to connect, slow to on/off. That’s really a shame...
