Tedious

citydog

I downloaded this after seeing a flurry of press that made it seem interesting. The premise is that your life coach is a sad, incompetent mess more in need of coaching/counseling than her clients are. And that's it. No twists, no turns, just one-note predictability slowly and dully played out at scheduled "sessions". The available responses to the questions "Karen" asks and upon which the personal report are presumably based are extremely limited and seldom reflected what my actual responses would have been, so it's hard to see how accurate the report could be. It's pretty apparent from the start that Karen is unprofessional and flaky. No reasonable person in real life would continue to employ her. I think the game would have been more effective if she seemed more reasonable and helpful at first and then slid into the crazy. One would be more inclined to stick with her through the messy bits in the hope of getting back to the helpful material. I was going to give two stars because it looks great and the actress does an excellent job, but honestly, the rest is so bad it doesn't even merit that.

You can skip ahead...

Billnyc3332

...to the next episode right away, if you like. The app just goes by the phone's date/time setting. Just go to settings/general/date and time, and keep rolling the date/time forward, and you can start the next episode immediately. It was actually interesting to play the whole thing through a couple different times with slightly different answers to the questions.

Rather Interesting

Auxnatural

Definitely not what I expected, it was interesting. The "game" makes you want to continue logging into episodes daily, the life coaching was actually spot on. I didn't expect the twist, I may play again with different answers to see if there are alternative endings.

Waste of time

Delphinee

Feel like the whole time I was not getting "coached" but I was watching Karen's problem. And worst of all, no evaluation. What a waste of time. She just said "you are a nice person but......" What is this???? Maybe the she didn't gather enough data from me to be able to form an evaluation. If you are bored and need entertainment then sure try this app but if you want to have a life coach..don't waste your time.

Weird but interesting

CBerc

I can't wait to take it again.

Don't pay for the report

itunesjma

The report was almost unreadable in terms of poor formatting/programming. Most fields of interest read "[replace]" (merge field error?) and none of the referenced images showed up. Feels a bit psych101, a bit like a waste of $4 and a lot like hype. I'm not sure if this corresponds to my data profile, but maybe that's what they meant by [replace].

Brilliant

Get to work sam

I think it is a very interesting approach to personal interaction that will start to bring us closer to a "Her" moment.

Does Not Deliver

Stu Levin

I downloaded this app after reading about what it was supposed to do and how it was premised. It is a waste of time. Not only does it deliver nothing in terms of life coaching, Karen's relationship (and breakup) with her boyfriend is a bore. Not even good entertainment.

Ugh

Tbh654

Boring and stressful needy content

Pointless

Nonuniform

I feel as though I'm playing a bad cd-rom game from 1995. Limited options, the game basically revolves around an emotional situation with you in the middle. You can't influence events at all. Totally pointless waste of money.
