Loved this game until...

Boslaw

I loved this game when I first started playing it...until I got to later levels that require upwards of 10-15 moves. Much of this game depends on trial and error. Having to go back to the beginning after you realize that the previous 12, 13, or 14 moves weren’t correct, seems wrong. I like the fact that the levels get more difficult, however, I don’t like that we can’t undo the last move. Instead, we have to start from the beginning and try to remember what we did or didn’t do the previous 14 moves. What started out as a beautiful, challenging, and relaxing game became a frustrating, stressful game. That’s not what I’m looking for in a game app.

Pros: This game is Unique. I recommend everyone at least try it. It helps you see problems in infinitely different ways. It helps build your cognitive thinking by forcing you to see outside the box. It uses simplicity and a sort of zen like grace to make you think puzzles are much easier than they are. I gave it 3 stars for its ingenuity. But I feel ripped off. I'm no Mensa person so I have to rely on paid "Hints" in order to learn and progress. I once spent 3 weeks on a puzzle. I put the game away and came back with a few days in between. It's possible they're not meant to be solved in just a couple of minutes & I lack the patience. Cons: The "Hints" which I ended up paying more for than I will ever admit, are flawed in this way: You often know the first several steps in a puzzle but get to a stuck part where you need a Hint. Instead of them giving you the hint you pay for, you must Reset the puzzle & are forced to pay for & go through ALL the steps with paid Hints that you already know! That you already figured out. This is no way to reward you for the work you did. Thusly, you're paying for not one but several hints you didn't NEED. So the game is making money unethically. User Puzzles: After going through the entire Journey levels of the game, the rest are user created puzzles. I like that there is an option to create & play other user created puzzles, but the game relies too heavily on them to fill in the Daily Challenge and other levels of the game. Levels that you could argue the writers should have created. Today, I actually got a puzzle I already did a couple days ago. They recycled! So I couldn't move forward without doing it again. The game did not recognize that I already did it. The Score: The score to make is set but as you make it, they just up the score another 10 points. You never make it to the next place because your working on puzzles to complete the score, which is a moving goalpost. *Tip: If you don't like a puzzle, the game will threaten to erase your score for skipping it. But your score doesn't mean anything in the end if the score changes while you're working on it. So go ahead and skip that puzzle! -It could use more basic palettes. -The basic palettes could be more appealing. -Instead of having you buy special palettes, they could reward you with those when you unlock certain levels. -You might be the kind of person who feels worse after figuring out a puzzle due to the obvious simplicity of the answer. (This is not uplifting) Somehow even when you're doing well in this game, you come away feeling worse. I don't know how that can be a Fun Game.

Super fun and addicting!

Great FREE mind puzzler game! NO ADS to ruin your fun! Some puzzles have me stumped for hours. But I can take a break from that puzzle and go “explore” other puzzles, then go back to the stumped one. I can even create my own puzzles for others to enjoy! What’s the catch to this ad free game you ask? You have to pay for hints. No biggie. You’re just using your brain more if you don’t buy the hints. You can also pay to unlock color palettes for creating your own puzzles, or just use the ones they have for free. It’s so rare to find a free fun, ad free game these days!

Pls allow us turn off the music

;)Mel

I’d give it 5 stars if I could turn off the music altogether without turning off the sound effects. Otherwise, a neat game

Awesome Game App, But...

I really love puzzle apps/games, and this one is one of my favorites. The only thing I would personally change, is to have an app purchase option. I’m not interested in palate upgrades or whatever, I need hints ?! I have t played in forever because I couldn’t afford more hints and I was at a tough stage and stuck. I’ve started trying to figure these puzzles out, but still stuck on the one I was on last year! They’re very challenging, which is great, and I did most of them without hints, just the last stages a brutal lol

Could be a gold mine for you

People have different tastes in puzzles/games to get them into a wonderful zone. Please give this app a test run, especially with music and buds. You may be in a subgroup for which this app creates absolutely perfect challenge and BLISS. What an incredible holistic experience created by the development team! A wonderful piece of art. This app puts me in a calm and good mood - give it a good test run!

Love it, but FULL OF BUGS lately

saltskin

This is a beautiful, relaxing, and often challenging game, and I’ve been addicted for a couple of years. However, lately it’s getting buggier and buggier! It crashes several times before opening, sometimes puzzles won’t open or they lock up and you can’t change anything and you have to restart, pages of the puzzles I’ve made are disappearing and user-made ones won’t load, sometimes they even blend together. I’m on an iPhone XR running iOS 13.3, so it’s not an old model. PLEASE FIX KAMI 2! I really miss it. (I will, of course, update the star rating if it ever gets fixed).

Fun but broken

_NerdyNerd_

I got the game recently and had a lot of fun. Today, since this game was draining my battery I turned on low power mode in the games settings. Then I tried to open challenges but it says I have to check my internet connection. My internet connection was fine. I tried turning off low power mode but it still didn’t work. The weirdest part is that when i scroll over to the create menu it blinks 52 next to hearts, which is the correct number, and then turns to 0. Fun, but this is a huge problem

Too many ads!

Good game, but the number of ads shown is horrible: after *every* board you have to watch a 30s video ad...
