You all think this blocks your kids from Internet searches and pornography. It may when your kid clicks on K 9 to search. But. If your kid has any game with ads (they all do) one click on an ad brings them to the Internet and bypasses the protected k9 search. Open access to all the crap online. So disappointed.

It crashes way to much and blocks sites like bass pro shops..... Also I can never open a link from my email. Even legit links from my work won't open. There needs to be a way to go into settings a No allow some of this . I don't want porn or suggestive sites on my phone but I do need my work links. Please fix and maybe I try again later. I am deleting and trying another one now.

I know it's supposed to be an app to make you not go into bad websites but I don't know why it has to delete Kik, Google, Vine, and Youtube? I mean yea they're 17+ but I don't watch nasty stuff on those apps. And when I search up something that's not bad, some of the results are blocked.

I've been using the k9 browser for over a year and it has done the trick. I appreciate the last update that detects a URLS in the phone's clipboard and asks if you want to go there. The only feature I wish it had was that the top and bottom bars of the browser would disappear so you could have more screen real estate for the actual web page.

Blocks ALL pictures and most websites. And also, I'm not an expert but looks easy to edit its code in file explorer on the Mac. And it's impossible to restrict all unsuitable data for children unless you restrict the internet all together or legally require everyone with data on the internet to restrict it or not. And if you are creating this app, you destroying the freedom and responsibility of a child.

I've been using the K9 browser for our family for years now. Initially it worked fine, but as the iOS updates have come along, the browser has become increasingly unstable. Frankly, I've just put up with it. As I'm in the middle of reading a web page, the browser will just crash, disappear, and then reload. Often it just becomes unresponsive, requiring a force shut down and restart. With the new Apple iOS 9, it's become even worse. Unbearable, really. This app does not get updated. Ever. I cannot remember the last time it updated. I've tried to email "Blue Coat", the developer. No response. Tried again, same result. I think they took their "blue coat" and hung it up, for good. It's probably in that hall closet where old coats are left to get eaten by moths and eventually thrown out. Do yourself a favor and avoid the constant exasperation. It's not worth it. This app is waaaaay too buggy to use. It pains me, as it used to be so good. But alas, all good this must come to an end. And it's time to shoot this thing and put it out of its misery.
