Best in Class

FireSmack

This is the best app around for finding movies ? and shows based on many useful search criteria. It’s a wonderful tool to have. I hope it stays around forever.

Almost worthless in current environment

Weissenflieger

Out of date. Poorly designed. Very poor resources of information.

Buggy

Vulgar demos

Great idea, but has been really buggy. And filters don’t always work.

Seriously 6 stars

I’ve been looking for an app like this for months and finally found it! The biggest difference with this app are the filters. Do you want to watch an 80s action hero movie? Done. Do you want to watch an indie flick over the last year with an 80% tomatometer rating? Done. You need to find something for the kids that’s G or PG rated at the most and want to see something over the last 10 years? Done. I literally can’t think of a filter that they could add to make this any better. Truly a really great app that I see using a lot! Nicely done.

Most Useful app to date

This app has been the absolutely the best and most efficient I’ve ever used. I can’t believe it’s free! So easy to use and full of all the information I’m looking for.

Love it!

So nice to see what’s new or what’s available to stream

Used to love this app

Although there have always been a few issues with finding old, obscure, or foreign movies, this app has been great at keeping track of movies and where to find them until recently. I think after the last update, the search function became almost unusable. After opening the app, you can search for movies a few times, but then any search will take you to the results of the last search you did. In order to search, you have to reboot the app completely, which can get tedious. Please fix soon.

Super Handy: Does One Thing Well

I haven’t had cable for decades. I have subscriptions to a number of streaming services, but the roster changes every now and then. We have a Roku TV. If you’re sitting at the TV you can do a fairly comprehensive search of what’s available thru Roku, but this is so much easier. You don’t have to be sitting at the TV, and it’s much better for exploring what’s on services you might not currently be subscribed to. There are a very few good apps that bundle a lot of related functionality, but to my mind of the best apps are ones like this: apps that fill a specific need and do it well.

Good idea. Bad execution.

Tar.Heel.Boy

Seems like a wonderful app. It is not correctly built for the iPhone X. The most critical “buttons” bleed into the home screen bar and are extremely difficult to push.

Nice App

Was very useful. (I think it is my iPad. I’ve been trying to reinstall / troubleshoot. A few things started acting up.)
