MY ?favorite? game available in the App Store. Most games are mindless and repetitive whereas 40 Thieves requires thought and calculation. Good for the brain.

I tend to play every day. It passes time in a waiting room and saves the game for you to finish if you have to leave it. I haven't gotten a very good percentage of won games since it is challenging. But I am beginning to learn some tips and hope to improve on that. Truly fun and addictive.

...in a game where the odds are ~1:150 against winning, a card counter might help the players' strategy; and allowing more than one card in a vertical to be moved is frequently seen in different versions and does help improve the odds a little
