This is really an awesome game. It works for the touch screen amazingly well. If you have a smaller screen I'd say it's the best choice out of the whole MC/ Terraria/ Junk Jack debate. This one was made for mobile though so it's understandable why it feels so fluid. I own them all and I can attest. It's great for people with fat fingers lol. It has fantastic pixel art, it's fun, and it's difficult at times when un prepared. As a long time player (played since the original jj and back when this one was called Junk Jack x) I highly suggest this game to anyone who likes crafting/survival/building/exploration/pixel art games. This is a great additive to the genre. It's held a permanent spot on my phone for a while now. Get it, you won't regret it!

Multiplayer won't work! It says failed to find players! :( Multiplayer is the main reason I play so I can hang out with people

I’ve seen this game evolve and accumulate more and more planets over the years. I’ve followed the dev blog, registered to the forum, and was even a beta tester in late 2015. I’m a part of the small, yet friendly, community! I used to play MCPE around 2012–2014 and I can say JJ is simply MADE FOR mobile! It has unique, yet simple controls: swipe to walk, jump, dash, climb, and swim). It has a cool concept, too: mine underground (starting on Terra, of course) and eventually spot a blue glow in the distance, which turns out to be a Portal Chest. Find 3 and build a portal to a planet, repeat. All the planets have their own theme: Earth, Egyptian, exotic, alien, lava, icy, tribal, moon, beach, spore, dark/castle. There’s so much variety in the enemies, critters, blocks, objects, plants, drops, armor, weapons, and more! Also, each planet (except 2) has 3 unique biomes underground, each with its own “set” of armor and weapons and you collect “reagents,” dropped from mobs, plants, etc. to make potions with effects like defense, attack bonus, resistance, speed, luck (higher chance for more rares), making you bigger/smaller, tinting your player a certain color, and more! You also find rare treasures—usually references to movies, games, etc.—with no other purpose than just to trade with others online. And there’s a friendly community of traders and shopkeepers out there (BEWARE of griefers, though! There’s always griefers in games like this, no matter what!) There’s even a “Collections” menu showing how many blocks, pets, treasures, food, armor, etc. you’ve found, so collecting is definitely a HUGE part of the game! TL;DR: It’s a complex—yet simple—game with lots to do, find, collect, and build. If you like games with lots of items to collect and a variety of unique monsters, the $5 this game costs will yield a game well worth more than twice as much!

I have been a junk jack fan since the original game was out and I have never been disappointed by how amazing of a job Pixbits manages to with this game!! This remains one of the best apps on the App Store in my opinion!
