This game could be so much fun, but instead it is cumbersome and confusing. There are no directions for playing the number of mini-games that are throughout this game! For example the ant game requires you (with no foreknowledge) to click on an ant then click at the top of the wound then quickly click again to take the body off the ant so that it leaves the head pinching her wound closed. I haven't yet been able to figure out the fishing mini-game. It also seems that they didn't do a very good job of porting this game to the iPad. A number of things just don't make sense, such as when you are making pottery it doesn't show anything, you just stand there and click and wonder if anything is happening. So far I'm pretty disappointed in this game. It's pretty but that's about it!

Searched a bunch of game forums and discovered that there is something in inventory at this point that will scare him away. Try everything, especially leftover animal parts. :) Overall, good PnC adventure game. Love the 3d and good graphics on ipad.
Beautiful but very poor port to iPad

While the game has beautiful graphics and smooth movement it is otherwise a failure. None of the mini-games have any instructions, there is no iPad walkthrough, and there are significant differences between the computer version and the iPad version. A lot of puzzles you don't even do and some you only have to do half of them to move forward. In addition you end up collecting several items that you can never use because there is no way to complete the puzzle - i.e., you can't make a cake batter because there is no way to collect the maple syrup or honeycomb to make the sugar. This game had such potential - it's too bad no one cared enough to make a quality port of the game to iPad.

This game has so much potential, unfortunately there are no clear objectives so the game becomes very cumbersome as the previous poster mentions. Beautiful scenery, cool story, but way to hard to figure out what exactly you are supposed to be doing. Worth the $.99 I paid for it however.

Did anyone finish this game? Because I'm having trouble painting on the cliff and it simply doesn't work. Any ideas?

No way to disassemble items, no green gas at end, engines don't come on, and Jeb doesn't get sick like he's suppose to. You just choose to stay on the island or to leave with the island dying even though nothing is dying. Also why can you make the fishing pole and lure but can't fish?!!!

Had to start again twice. Cannot complete game after leaving the beach and going inside cliff. Many bugs throughout game. Very frustrating with no guidance.

Once I got online and looked and looked, I finally found the help I needed to get into sanctuary! I am so happy! Now I can continue with this lovely game that I began a couple of years ago!
