Men need to be more humble & less cocky.

Madonnamerm8

I have nothing against the app but I matched with nearly 100 men, none of whom have initiated the conversation. At first I thought that it was like Bumble where women have to say hi, but I was wrong. I said hello to all the men and even used some help me liners to break the ice and barely got any response. Some even told me that they just wanna have fun?!? Really? Join Tinder then. So what’s the point of being on the app if you’re not gonna talk anyways? I’m deleting it because I cannot deal with egotistical people.

Jswipe: The Craigslist of Jewish Dating

While it's very nice being able to have a pool of Jewish singles to choose from, rather than the hodgepodge in other dating apps, Jswipe definitely needs a lot of work. It doesn't seem that users are validated through any type of external source (Facebook, etc). Many users have no information attached to their profile, have no photos with any sort of person in them, and elusive bios that seem to indicate something sketchy is going on. The report feature does next to nothing. Other apps make it a mission to remove users who don't meet community expectations, whereas it doesn't seem like Jswipe does anything with the reported users as far as creating rules and standards to avoid this in the first place (see above). It doesn't seem like accounts are removed for inactivity. While I'm sure the thought process behind this is to make sure the pool of users available is large enough, what is the point of having a larger pool when a percentage of that pool hasn't touched the app in months? I often see friends whom I know are in relationships, or even engaged/married appear. I would think there would be a duration of time of inactivity that would cause an account to stop appearing in the pool, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Users swiped left on still appear in the pool over and over. Am I missing something here? Are other users likely to change their minds? Would love to know the rationale here. Lastly, I think the categorizations of users could be refined. Buckets like "Orthodox" or "kosher" can mean many things. I would consider myself "modern Orthodox" so when I am filtered for Orthodox I see users who are far more religious than I am. Additionally, I consider myself kosher, but I will eat dairy at a restaurant that is not kosher. In my opinion, I think those categories could use an overhaul.

You don't pay, you don't get matches

Alexk9892

I believe there's some sort of algorithm that blocks you from matching if you don't pay up. The app let me know that a beautiful girl superliked me and I proceeded to like her back but no match. That's "definitely" not the response from app usage...

Unable to create an account without Facebook? Really?

wutdahecht

I understand the importance of verifying identity via a few different authentication factors, but making it a requirement to sign in with Facebook is pretty lame. “If you don’t use Facebook, you can’t use JSwipe,” is a rather silly approach when looking to acquire new users, don’t you think?

Meeeh.

Been using this for a while now. Okay so it’s better then Jdate. But, I have to search 60 or more Miles to match with guys, most of whom don’t want to travel or get serious about anything that far. Also would be nice to match up by level of education. But again, not a lot of serious options.

I’m Locked out

sad snd happy

I’m sad that I have been locked out from jswipe and I don’t know why and I have not been unblocked yet and it’s been many days but my two daughters are in successful relationships from this app one for six months and one for three months so I am happy with jswipe for my two daughters.

Worst customer service ever!

nothappyjb

The Automatic responses to my emails are always the same. Not helpful at all. ☹️?

Great stuff, tech needs some work

crazy4lincolnheits

This app is great and user friendly! The only downside is often you get “maximum execution time reached” and everything shuts down and makes it impossible for messages to go through! Not sure how to fix this.

Amazing
