Can you make the app optimized for the iPhone 6 & 6+? As of now it is a scaled up app on the newest phone. Other than that, great redesign.

This app used to be a very nice app with many features and options! This new update reminds me of a 1st generation smartphone news app. There are very few articles; the sports section is dreadful; you can no longer tell when you last updated your feed. I actually thought I had accidentally installed an old app. I know it is now free, but it's really a disappointing update. It says "we decided to go cheap". I suspect LJS wants you to use the website or continue home delivery.

Ever since the update, I can't get the app to open on my phone even though I have a compatible OS. I was able to get it on my wife's phone and it is terrible. Fewer articles and categories. Very cheap looking. Pretty bad. It used to be my main resource for local news. Now I will use local news apps instead. I guess they want you to use their website. The slow death of the newspaper continues....

Newest version won't open

Latest upgrade now won't open at all. How do you promote an app which doesn't work at all? At least let us revert back to the last version that worked. Thanks literally for nothing.

It used to be a great app, now it's full of "click bait". It's hard to scroll through without opening safari or App Store. I'm deleting it.

Too many ads/ bad layout

Every time that I open the app it instantly takes me to an ad on safari and then redirects to the App Store, all without even clicking anything. I understand that they need to have ad revenue to keep the app free, however, I don't think that it should redirect me immediately after opening it. Most times I just give up and read the journal star on safari because it is faster than having to close out of the App Store and go back to the LJS app. The layout is another issue I have, the home screen isn't sorted by section of the newspaper, rather it is all jumbled together. On the side bar your two options are to look at recent articles or sports, no other sections are visible.

I cannot emphasize how much I hate this app. If there was any other way to get local news, I would. Like the other reviewer, I understand they need ad revenue, but constantly redirecting me to the App Store to install advertised apps is absolutely rotten behavior. The speed and crashing problems don't help either.

I love to read local news, but every time I read an article the app redirects me to a game app, all without me touching anything. If this keeps up I will definitely delete the app.

Can't read anything for all the ads taking me to the app store. Also you can't comment on stories. Skip this app.
