Great & simple - online play?

Super great app, but online play should be a given? Especially since it’s connected to game Center! I’d like to invite my friends and play as we go like words with friends.

I loved Jotto as a child an am addicted to this game. I wish it had a way to clear the alphabet grid when it is obvious you have isolated wrong letters. The dictionary seems lacking a bit. I have played so much, I’m going thru the words all over again. Im glad to see the game is still being updated. It’s good brain exercise.

Uh...maybe I’m not understanding?

I guessed the word happy and it said 1, then I guessed logic (which I realize shares no letters with happy) and it said 1. I am assuming the 1 means 1 letter is right? But happy and logic don’t share any letters.

Need to be able to play without handing tablet off, I.e. online play to be useful. It’s really just a fancy piece of paper as it is

I really like this app. There are only two things keeping me from rating it 5 stars. 1) The new pastel colors. They are much harder for me to tell apart than the old primary colors were. 2) Allowing the app to choose words with double letters at the EASY level. My personal feeling is that having the possibility of a double letter takes it way beyond easy.

I would have given this app 4 or 5 stars... until today. Apparently it was updated overnight, and now the words guessed, which appear on the right side of the bank of letters WRAP so that they're very difficult to view and comprehend. Also the colors are too pastel and similar to one another. Hard to detect green vs yellow or even red. Hope these issues are fixed soon, especially the word wrap issue. Also hope I'll find the new version has more "difficult"-level words. I've been through them all so many times my guesses are based on memory of past words found. That's all. Thanks. I play on my iPad 3, btw.

Reasonable implementation of the game. Not 5 stars because of limited words for the 'hard' level. Sometimes able to guess word with 3 letters because I have done the same word several times. Also, one word that isn't a word 'mugho' which, oddly, is the answer, but when guessed is not an acceptable word! Suggested improvements: 1). Larger secret word vocabulary; 2). Highlight letters in guessed words with same colors assigned in alphabet (I.e., green for known letters, red for eliminated patters); 3). New game defaults to previous settings instead of requiring selection every time.

Doesn't play like original Jotto

Playing against computer is okay but disappointed in multi player. I have original Jotto game and rules. You always picked your own words. They're always five letter words and you take turn after each guess. This Jotto just not what I was hoping for. We now just play through text message and use original game pages at each end

Just like the paper game. Wish there were more colors, for tried letters, possible pairs, etc.
