JezzBall Classic was created to be just like how the original JezzBall was 25 years ago! The graphics, the sound, the scoring, the physics, the tempo... they are all the same as they were in the original. Of course there are improvements as well; for example there's a much higher frame rate and fixed glitches. Plus a lot of bonus stuff, such as new game modes!
Gameplay:
In JezzBall there are a number of Jezz atoms that bounces around. Your task is to build walls that contain them in as small space as possible. When over 75% of the playarea is built upon the current level is completed and you move on to the next where another Jezz atom is added into play.
Press down to place the origin of the wall, move to determine the orientation of the wall and release to actually start building it. The wall is constructed in two directions from the center, if a wall-half is hit by a Jezz atom before it has reached an already existing wall it is destroyed and you lose a life.

+ 700 beautiful background images (real life photos). Go to the "Graphics" config screen to enable it. Will place a random image into the black walls each level.
+ 8 music tracks of classic MIDI tunes you'll probably remember! All recorded using SoundBlaster 16. You can set up to 24 music audio events if you want to.
+ 60 fully customizable SFX audio events - change which sample(s) to play or change individual volumes. A pool of 300 sounds are available from various old games.
+ Automatic saving of all games in progress. Stop and continue whenever you want to!
+ Local high score lists. In the Hall of Fame your name will last forever and on the three other lists you will see the daily, weekly and monthly high scores.
+ Level records. All your best statistics are saved on each and every level you complete. Profile records are comparable.
+ Smart and very customizable controls. If you have a touchscreen you can play using your fingers.
+ 83 mods that once activated changes how the game is played! Use none or pick one/several at the same time in any order. High scores and level records are stored separately for each combination. Some mods will just change the amount of time/lives you have while other will drastically change gameplay (allow you to use two wallbuilders at the same time for example).
+ 22 preset mod-combinations are provided in addition to the original JezzBall experience to give you variation.
+ 100 rooms that will stimulate your intellect as well as your ability to time your deployments! Can you solve them?
+ There are also missions available to inspire you to break your personal bests. Completing them all is an achievement!
If you enjoyed similar games like Qix, Xonix, Barrack or KBounce you will love JezzBall Classic! It may not be near as well-known as the biggest arcade puzzle games but JezzBall stands its ground as one of the most addicting ones and I promise you will find JezzBall Classic both challenging and enjoyable.

2 levels....waste of a download

I used to LOVE jezzball when I was a kid. I could easily play it for hours. I decided to try the lite version because their are sooo many versions out there, u don’t know which would be worthy of payment. I would’ve had no problems paying for this game BUT....... First of all, is this your first time making apps? If so, great job to BEGIN but there’s plenty to fix. The screen doesn’t rotate and while that’s fine, u actually have to be able to see the view allowed! I can’t make the view bigger, I can’t change to landscape, I cannot read anything! No I’m not 80 years old either! Lol. The game is waaaaay too small to really play and be happy with the orientation. That alone makes it not remotely worth the $5 ur asking for. I honestly don’t feel I would pay u a dollar bc it’s just more trouble than it’s worth. Next, ur instructions. What’s up with that?! Lol!! To get to the main menu, if u can read that without a magnifying glass, u have to draw a circle two times in a row quickly?.....or just put three fingers on ur screen. U r trying to sell this correct? Use interface is too much of a hassle to really keep ppl around. I got the look down, the way it should play is pretty accurate but it starts off too fast at first n maybe the sensitivity should be tweaked for when someone is trying to catch a ball? I used to be able to catch them balls in a 1x1 without much trouble, to get the best scores possible. While I don’t NEED to do that, I wouldn’t be able to if I tried. I despise ads but maybe u should utilize some in a way that it doesn’t mess with the gameplay at all...then u could possibly cut ur cost down to make it more affordable for younger people out there like my son maybe and maybe that’ll also help u get where I need to be with the logistics and interface of the game? I am not an app creator so idk wth u need to make these things but I see potential here if u really want it to become something. I never write reviews for apps either but when I do, it’s for a good reason ? good luck!!! Let’s turn this 1 star rating to 5!

The number of options in this game are staggering. There are tons of modifiers that alter the gameplay and the graphics are extremely similar to the original. I plan on buying it for my dad; he plays the original every day.

I downloaded this and I can't even play the game. This game BLOWS!!! If this is what the paid version is like, count me out. Fix this piece of crap you call a game. I had this downloaded for a minute then deleted it. The game developer is horrible at his job.

Pretty cool game. It's just like the jezz ball I remember playing. Pay attention to the tutorial. It's a lot of fun. Good time waister for sure!

Ehh its ok, but I think "Contain FREE Trap the Balls" is a better Jezz ball game.

On the iphone this game is frustrating. Initiating a new wall is just a fraction of a second slower than on the desktop version. It's enough to cause me to lose the game. Also the placement of walls isn't always accurate. I touch the screen where I want the wall to form but it ends up forming one row over, which when juggling several balls at once is enough to cause me to lose the game. On a desktop I could juggle 15 or more balls at once, but on this app version I can't even get close to that level.
