So it is easy to pick up and play passively, and does get pretty challenging. Some of the later levels around 470+ you pretty much have to have luck in order to get the right combos to complete the level . There is also a second part to the game which I think the previous reviewer ignores is that there is the “el dorado area” which has additional levels which are quite hard, so there is lots of puzzles and challenges. My only gripe is the ads in between, which are crazy loud and some don’t make a mute button. Also the game doesn’t allow me to mute it anymore other than turning my phone manually to silent. I’ve gone to settings and selected mute music and sounds and yet still plays sounds. Otherwise great free to play game.

Right now as you can see I am frustrated because I cannot shut off the music and sound on this game...I x it out, but it still plays the music and also the sound...what good are the buttons if they don’t work...I really love this game, but it annoys the rest of the family... Please help....thank you so much....

BEWARE OF BUYING COINS!!!

Every time I try to send a review, 3 times now, warning players about buying coins, my review disappears!! I want to warn you about buying coins from Jewels Temple. I was recovering from the flu, when early in the morning, I purchased 120,000 coins. After you get into the 400's, some games are impossible to win without buying coins. I'm at level 472, one of those impossible levels. Anyway, I ordered those 120,000 gold coins. I didn't know the cost BECAUSE, UNLIKE ANY OTHER GAME, THE JEWELS TEMPLE DOES NOT SHOW THE PRICE BEFOREHAND!!! To my shock, when I received Apple's receipt the next day, the charge to my credit card was $99.99!!!!! I'm retired and disabled and can't afford $99.99 for a stupid game!!! I never would have purchased these coins had I known! I swear I did not see the price until I got the receipt!!! Thank the Lord, I was greatly helped by Apple and iTunes customer service. With this game, unlike most others, you get NOTHING FOR WINNING. Most other games give you extra coins if you win. Not this one. At first, you can watch ads and get 200 coins for each ad. But once I actually bought my first coins, the number of ads I could watch to get free points decreased significantly. This game IS challenging and addicting. But please be careful when you buy coins, because you may be stuck paying for more than you ever intended. I advise the programmers to be up front about the cost of coins. Every other game I've played tells you the costs before you buy. This Jewels Temple practice can lead to a lot of problems for people who can't afford as much money as these coins cost. I was told by the iTunes Customer Rep that my credit card will be refunded within 10 business days. I am so thankful for that. But the stress this caused me when I saw the receipt was unreal, and it didn't have to happen if Jewels Temple would have posted prices up front. It verges on fraud. I still have these extra points on my computer, although I'm not using them. If I'm not refunded, which I trust I will be, I will fight this. So I caution you to be aware when you buy coins. I hope THIS REVIEW GETS SENT because the first 3 I wrote were NOT SENT!!

I’ve been playing this game for months. It was okay at first. But it gets boring after a while. There’s no excitement in the game. Nothing really to work towards. It has become the game I play while I’m waiting for my lives to be restored on other games.
