The app does what it claims to do. It uses the built-in compass to point to the Western Wall. I imagine that in future releases of the app we'll see: - instructions in English (not only in Russian) - the option to choose the method of calculating the correct direction for Tefiklah whether via direction (as present) or via shortest route (great circle line) as it is a matter of dispute which way to face. Thank you to the developer for a fine and easy tool. I've turned to it in many venues (how many times at an airport or a wedding hall has it been unclear which way to face).

I downloaded the app and when I open it it doesn’t do anything. And of course I don’t read Russian. But I’m not Jewish either. How do you make this work?

Using this app in a basement level room with WiFi it seems the app is setting a new direction each time I spin to a different angle. And reopen it. Not sure if it works or not. Maybe there is something wrong with the compass on my phone.

It does what it is supposed to do. The only improvement I would make would be options for other languages. ;)
