Downloaded the app on iPad.... When I open the app it starts to load up then shuts the program down
Great for parents who don’t want to worry about scary, inappropriate videos in their kids apps. Parents get to pick the topics and hand the phone off to the kiddos for them to explore. Educational and fun videos. New videos added all the time.
No worries about my child seeing inappropriate or unwanted content through ads or mimicking YouTube “stars’” personalities. Much easier way to introduce technology to a child in a positive light. The weekly content and playlist updates makes the $5 a no brainer. Thanks you!
In a world going crazy more and more, and algorithms being learned and manipulated, Jellies is a wonderful dosage of simple, child friendly goodness.
Jellies checks all the boxes of what I want in a video app for my kids: People (not machine) curated content No inappropriate ads — actually, no ads at all! A simple and fun interface The above and more made it a really simple decision to replace my kids’ existing video app with Jellies.
Knowing my kid won't be exposed to inappropriate videos or ads is reassuring. Parent vs kids mode is great and easy to navigate!
I love that all the content has been curated by hand, it's so nice to have that piece of mind. It's a great value because of the level of control it provides and has tons of videos my nieces and nephews enjoy.
I don’t have kids of my own, but when my friends come to visit with their kids (or drop them off so they can have an evening of freedom), it can sometimes be a challenge to keep the little ones entertained in a way that keeps both them and their parents happy. Jellies is awesome—I don’t have to worry about what they’re watching or if an inappropriate video comes up next when I leave the room for a second. Everyone’s happy!
Update. This works with my iPhone on the latest 11 iOS. However, my kids iPad is not the newest and can only be updated to 9.3.5 as the maximum. This app crashes on this iOS version and doesn’t work. Update2. Well I’ve got to say I’m pretty impressed with this developer. Response time was quick and they fixed their issue with the iPad. Happy consumer here.
