This app is amazing! I've tried language apps in the past and they just didn't really work. This app is put together nicely with categories that make it easier to look for words. The "Word of the Day" feature is an amazing idea because it motivates me to find new words. I just started and already I've impressed my mom and annoyed my sister by saying things she couldn't understand ?. It's a great app with a price of $4.99 worth and I think that if you want to learn words and phrases in Japanese, this is the app for you. JA NE! ???

Very useful app !!

An excellent app to help you learn basic Japanese words and phrases. The recordings of the pronunciations are very helpful. The downside: many subjects require a paid upgrade.

Everything that I need at the moment

This a great app--I used it often on my two week trip to Japan. The audio pronunciation is invaluable. I wish I had paid for the upgraded version.
