I'm currently trying to get more of these kinds of apps, and this was very helpful. It's better than learning all of your Japanese from anime/manga, I suppose.

I think this app is good, but i would suggest getting the "learning Japanese" app as well as this one to teach proper Japanese grammar. The background is black and the word are white. It should have been the first one to come up.

Not all entries for quizzes are accurate. Would be much better if the fill in the blank quizzes had a keypad for hiragana rather than romaji. Great concept, but accuracy matters.

I downloaded this app because its difficult to find one that can help me maintain my Japanese skills. This is NOT one. Many of the words, even easy ones, are translated incorrectly. For example: Kyodai is sibling not brother. Brother would be Onii-San (if older) or otouto (if younger). If you are serious about learning Japanese, I do not suggest this app at all.

I personal think this app is great for anyone who wants to learn basic Japanese conversation skills. But it is a little hard to understand at times. Overall a good app.
