I have an outstanding support request ticket that is going on two weeks with no help. If a solution to your problem is not on the faq list, you are on your own....disappointed.

Very sweet sounds...

I wrote a review for this long ago when it was the only app Positive Grid had out. Since it is still available on the App Store I thought I should re-write it considering how much iOS music has evolved. Of course, if you know about this app you probably know about BiasAmp or BiasFX. There are a lot of people who will say BiasAmp is the best on iOS. I think that would be subjective but for many, that’s the fact. My personal opinion is that JamUp Pro is better for one reason. In my opinion, more choice is not better sound. Sure, you can customize amplifiers and that kind of thing in BiasAmp, and if that’s what you really want, your new amps still work with JamUp Pro. I would spend hours tweaking an amplifier in BiasAmp trying to come up with my “signature” tone only to open it up a week later to find I hated it. The beauty of JamUp Pro Is it’s just like a guitar amp. Plug-in and play. All the great amps have already been made and these ones all sound great without getting inside and changing the tubes or adjusting things like transformers and tone stacks. In my original review I kind of bashed on it for being mono. There were no stereo effects. There’s still not any stereo effects. But the way iOS has evolved for musicians you can add stereo effects to your signal chain before the recorder. Just run it through Audiobus or AUM as an input, add effects then send the signal into a recording app. This has the effect of recording a single mic’d amplifier with classic effects pedals then adding studio effects during mixing. I don’t know if it’s possible but I would really like to see this app become AUv3 compatible. This would make it possible for me to send a single guitar signal to two or more different amplifiers and record them all at the same time. I think I’m just dreaming though. So, closing, I STILL highly recommend this app. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Recent update causes crashing...

K.P.G.

I have really enjoyed this app. I have an electric fiddle and can create some awesome sounds with this app. But, the most recent update keeps crashing? Not good, especially if I’m performing. Is there a fix coming for this? Would have given it 5 stars, but for this problem.

NO LONGER WORKS

Mrbrentbt

It was fine for a few months, and now it just keeps crashing. The backing tracks you load will not play anymore. Fire your developers, they screwed it up

Upgraded to Pro and lost my expansion

K_to_the_Bee

I had a metal expansion on the regular JamUp. I recently upgraded to Pro and can no longer use them. The “Restore Purchases” button does nothing. Please help.

Great app - Great support from app maker

t-veggie

I use JamPro mainly to practice. It’s great to be able to sit on my couch with headphones and be able to play along with songs. I also love to play with all of the amps and pedals. I love having $10K of equipment in my phone. Positive Grid support is great! I had an issue with the app where I couldn’t see songs in the “Jam” section of the app because I accidentally denied the app access to iTunes when I first installed, and Positive Grid was very responsive and helpful in helping me figure out what I did wrong. The fix was simply to reinstall the app. I use the app with my bass guitars and a iRig2. I even have a preset that matches my real pedal board.

Support

Love this app. The controls for the the effects are a nightmare and get my heart rate up just trying to turn a volume knob on my iphone x and my ipad pro. Before finishing this I checked one more time in the support section to see if I missed something, there needs to be a clear complaint or issue department sorry if I'm too dumb to understand your help section.

Useless

zsetyutgu

I was led to believe this app would play music that I could jam with. There is no music in it. It has two pull existing music off of the iPad or iTunes. This is useless. I could play along with my own music 20 years ago on a boom box. I want a refund.

Use it as a looper pedal

msarthur

I use this with an old griffin storm box (works with 30 pin to lightning adaptor and you can get them really cheap these days). Excellent support for the stompbox. I paste in drum loops from other apps into the sampler so I have a beat box that I can start and stop with a pedal. Effects are very comparable to other apps I have tried. I am using this on an iPad mini2 with no issues so far.

Low latency

Hamachi chop chop

Nice app , great sounds with low latency. I like how it integrates into Auria recording sessions.
