From great to LAME! Don't update!!

Caution!!!! The update takes away a few instruments and makes you buy them. Really lame to take away features that the previous version had. C'mon guys.... not cool. :-( It used to be great, but this lame attempt to make more money has left a really bad taste in my mouth.

I was hoping to install this on my new phone, but I won't be able to use any of the features I already paid for unless I pay them again! I wasn't even able to use this on my iPhone 4 because it crashed. This is such a rip off for anyone who previously purchased this app.

Potential, but partially broken

This is a rare review by me on iPad 3 (original) iOS7. I installed this app upon reading an inaccurate review from a source who isn't wrong much so my experience might not be accurate or reliable. However: 1: For me the app crashes very often, especially if I treat the wheel like a chord sequencer and try to tap melodies out. Keep in mind this ruins the apps ability to be what is known as a scratch instrument. (For getting rough ideas). 2. This seems like too many apps on iOS 7 so it may be another glaring non Appleish whopper like other UI whoppers (like me not being able to watch text input at this point because my keyboard is ontop of my thread and there being no way for me to change that). My complaint here is the loading screen is very long and wrong being some older cached picture of where I was instead of a loading screen, I try to click on the UI thinking it saved my progress but it's just a jog. 3: I downloaded all in app purchases and I still can not find out how to access them, I'm no tool when it comes to technology, but perhaps with this app, that is starting to change. Otherwise, you all have done a great job illustrating the underlying structure of the musical scales and how they are (IMHO a prism with sound bending through them) please update, I'll try to update my review afterwards, thanks, I love what I have read about the app so please don't be discouraged, these reviews are from customers who care and want to help.

Bad business model

I have been using this app for months and love the user interface. However, I opened the app after restoring my phone to find that the features that I had been using for months are now in app purchases. The reason I own Apple products is for the innovation and the new business models that are created from these apps. Companies that use a bait and switch model like this should really rethink their business strategies and strive to innovate to create more revenue, not create dependencies and ask for money later.

After owning this app from the time it released they have the gaul to remove features so they can then sell them back to the customer. The design is lazy with 90's style graphics which makes this app (which also freezes on 2 different iPhones) worthless.

Won't work. I paid for the chord portion and then clicked on the wheel and now it is stuck on a page telling me to buy a bass fretboard. Tried shutting down but it just happens again. Seems like a cool program if it worked. I liked the chord tutorials but now I have $5 in a program I can't use.

Hi.. If anyone out there is listening, or gives a dam, it's me just saying that in the past 20 years of playing guitar as a self taught musician I've never learned more about music than I have in the past 6 months with using Jamn. It's not a cheaply designed product which makes me stoked. I'm a part of its creation as much as every musician in the world is. ... Anyway it's about the same price as a frappuccino from Starbucks, but like a massive $200 text book in your pocket. That's great value if I ask me! Just get it. You'll use it and you'll love it.
