This app was great for about a day, and then it completely stopped working. It crashes, the screen is frozen, and it says there is a network error when I try to get the free tokens.

This could be a really great app, but it is supposed to have a tuner and every time the tuner icon shows, that means that the whole app is locked up and won't work. It does a little better on the iPhone than the iPad, but it is really frustrating. I have written to them several times but they don't care. Frequently crashes, locks up, and the "tokens" for getting new songs don't work. They need to FIX THE BUGS!

Could be best app if glitches get fixed

This app has so much potential and I already feel like I've improved because of this app. However, the app has been completely broken for me for a few weeks, following a couple instances of glitches before that. Coincidentally, the glitches seemed to occur right as I was about to redeem "free coins" so it seemed almost purposeful. I wouldn't even mind that much if the app would just not be frozen anymore. :/

It was pretty good at first with all the songs (which are amazing), but the problem is that it is laggy, the screen stays frozen and makes my phone lag, I don't know why it says for the update that it is fixing bugs because it is apparently not doing it for me. Overall it is pretty gooood!

I personally didn't like this app. I think it's a complete waste of time and money. I thought I could select from an array of songs, but all it gives me is Christmas music. Not to be rude, but Christmas is over! It's honestly better to go on google for free than try buying anything off of here. I also get we just want to learn, but this doesn't allow you to interpret the music in your own way. I feel that is key to even begin with a music app. So, anyway, don't use this app. Not worth it.

I personally loved this app. It was clean, easy to use, and had lots of helpful features. I loved how you could see how to play the chords and hear it as well. It was easy to play along with and learn with the way that it looked and ran. However, it does have a lot of improving to do. I did not like how few songs there were. The practices were very useful, and there were a lot of those, but you do them so quickly. It would be nice to have a lot more songs and practices. Another thing was that the options to pluck the strings were only for the 4 strings. I would like to see more where you can put down fingers and pluck. I'm not saying I don't like this part of the app, I'm just saying that I would like to see more. I am very hopeful for the future of this app, and will keep it downloaded so that I could wait for updates. I would also like to suggest a feature: since it was so nice and useful using the screen with the chords and strumming pattern, I found a lot easier and faster to learn songs. I think it would be a nice feature if users were allowed to put in songs or make their own, by possibly putting in the chords, putting them in the right order for when it should be played, and a strumming pattern. Maybe there can even be a way to make your own practices if you need to work on switching between different chords. I feel like it would be a great help to my playing if I could put in my favorite songs and my own. I would be so happy to see this feature. Thank you so much for the great app! I would highly recommend to download right away.

APPENDED REVIEW: 2/7/2017. There have been no Updates on this app for about 2 years now. It won't even open anymore. Don't bother downloading it, save your space for something that works - (like Riffstation) I enjoyed this app while it was useful, and I miss it! EUM Labs, please either FIX IT or remove/replace it, Thanks. ~2015: OK, sure: it's not perfect. It starts out free, but you need to buy the GOOD songs. However, you can 'check in' and for every five check-ins you get a ticket, good toward the purchase of songs. There are some great strumming patterns & practice exercises, also some beginning fingerpicking! Come on now, be fair: before you judge, make sure you look at the features of an app thoroughly & give it a proper chance! I have been playing for a little over a year now & some of the features of this app are more useful than I found them to be earlier on. I still use it almost daily. Thanks EUMLab!

The app starness

This app was pretty good for the first 15 minutes I used it. Well, after that amount of time, it glitched and everything on my phone is too. When I get on it, it freezes then crashes. I reset my phone, checked for updates, and restarted the app multiple times and no help. I might delete the app, but I have hope that it'll get fixed.

Worked when I initially purchased and no issue charging for songs... App crashes and is completely unfunctional. SCAM. This developer is a thief! Avoid at all cost. ZERO STARS.
