On iTunes 12.8.2.3, I can only open the screen to input the 4 digit code if my iPhone is plugged in with a USB cable, and once I do and receive a success message, nothing changes in the app or on iTunes. The home sharing option also doesn’t work when set up. None of the help articles on the internet are any help. Did they really not test this with this version of iTunes?

This app has always worked nicely with the 3rd Gen Apple TV and iTunes on my MacBook Pro Shared Library. Yet, I’m puzzled why the recent Apple TV software update for this not-so-old box didn’t include compatibility with the newer iOS utility app for the 4th Gens. When launching the newer remote, which can easily be added to the iOS Control Panel, the old Apple TV box appears in the AirPlay list and is selectable— producing the usual 4 numeral code to be entered on the TV. Unfortunately, the code entry doesn’t appear on the TV. Please fix this if possible!!! Incidentally, thanks for finally fixing the iTunes Login on the recent atvOS software update??✌?

The OG app is trash! It kept cutting out & not linking to my Apple TV. With the ITunes remote I NEVER have that problem!

Made it amazingly easy to control my older generation Apple TV device over the network. Thank you

The app doesn’t work. The keyboard doesn’t come up anymore. There are no updates. Impossible to get tech support. I’m going to google. Apple has lost touch with consumers.
great reviewss
I would like for it to just sync up without having to download another app to enjoy your music on all Apple devices.

I can only play music already added to my library. I wish I could search for music on the apple music library itself.

Wish I could access through Control Center or Widget. On another thought, Apple Music app should have control functionality, let my devices become the airplay devices they already are...
