But, It did not have the speak feature. Also you could choose Any of the languages they offered, and type in what you wanted translated. Hope they change the free app back to the way it was. It is useless as it is now. You can't translate anything on this free new free version I'll give 2weeks then by-by Sincerely, A former ITranslater app user

Living in FL, there are a lot of folks not fluent in English and this translator has proven invaluable on may occasions. It also allows me to converse with visitors to the area from other non English speaking countries Great program and simple to use!

i have used this for spanish, and japanese, a language rife with nuances. the translations were extremely helpful when i was in Japan. loved the voice translation to help with pronunciation. i screen shot common sayings for quick access. made my trip to Japan very smooth!!

I always greet my Daughter with "Hello Love." Since downloading this app, I'm able to greet her in that manner in quite a few different languages. She gets a big kick out of it! I also have a Mexican American friend who's wife doesn't speak much English. With this app I am able to communicate with her, in person, on Facebook, or even through text messages. (And we even exchange recipes) I especially like the fact that she can also download this app, and we can have a conversation (all be it, a little bit time consuming) with the audio speech mode on. Just in case my accent is not (on). If I ever take a vacation to a foreign country, I will definitely bring this app along, and save a lot of headaches (and embarrassment) trying to translate their language into English and vise versa. If you can find a use for this app, (and who wouldn't these days) download it. You won't regret it!
Says free but...

It says its free but when download app it says upgrade now, no trial, no test, only a link to direct buy of App. Very misleading since the free app does not display in App Purchases tricking people to download it as completely free, then an external link, to an upgrade which shows no price until the link directs you to pay for upgrade, very dirty to mislead people but does anyone know if this is a violation of Apple rules for misleading Apple users? This company is not worth 39 dollars year or 9 dollars month for any off their services

I tried two versions and thought free. Now getting knowledge that charged until cancelled. I have notified "support" and "help" and followed directions and got no answer except detailed method that doesn't work from phone iPhone 7.
