Comprehensive Guide

We're planning a trip to Puglia, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out how many key and off-the-beaten path sites were included in this app. There were also means to sign up for various tours. One of the best travel apps I've seen.

It's the best off line guide there is and don't even have to buy it. You can buy the Pro version which only adds Fodors guides but the basic one is more than enough to get around. I did buy the Pro version because of how they sell it to you, "it will help us a lot to make it better" they say, and for an app that is already so great for free I didn't hesitate to help.

The offline maps are the best feature. I used this when my Garmin couldn't find satellites in rural Tuscany and when I wanted to quickly figure out if I was walking towards or away from the Arno. This app offers customized suggestions based on location and was a total game changer for my most recent trip to Italy! The key is that most important features are available offline for international travelers hoping not to use data while abroad.

I downloaded 4 different map apps for my stay in Venice, Italy but this one is by far the best of them all. You just follow the dot to your destination and you'll have no problem getting there. This app was extremely helpful going through all the streets and alleys in Venice. Get this app now!!!

This app is very well organized on how it presents its information. I travel throughout many cities in Italy and Triposo made it so much better in order to find important things to visit as well as great places where to eat. It also provides with history of cities and landmarks. A very useful app to use if you travel Italy!
Surprisingly Excellent Resource

I had really low expectations (mostly because most travel guide apps aren’t very helpful) but this app turned out to be really useful. We used it every day. Great maps, sights to see, and best of all were the walking directions which work perfectly off-line. The only complaint I have is that the restaurant and hotel “reviews” are not very helpful as they are not user-rated — you just get your standard guide book restaurant listing. We are spoiled by apps like Yelp, so just use Yelp for actual reviews, but use this app for getting around during your travels.
Great Free app with map and directions

This was a great app! It's free and works offline. The best aspect of it the map and the fact that it shows you directions without using data. Highly recommend it.
