Helpful (free) reference

We are finishing up a trip to Venice and Rome, and while the dictionary was missing some words that I tried to look up, overall it was very helpful finding the word or phrase we needed. We didn't buy any of the extension packs, but working off the free version was definitely good enough for our needs.

This dictionary is complete. It brings up verbs and says what tense. I paid because I was so impressed and I didn't want to have to use an inferior app like google translate

I see the word saldi everywhere here in Italy, so I typed it in, it said it was the noun form of saldare, which it said it would translate for me...if I got the paid version!

This can really speed up ones reading of Italian text. Sometimes the textual meaning and the word definition seems to be out of phase but it certainly is an improvement over pounding a paper bound dictionary

Utterly useless

Complete and utter piece of crap. The first three words I looked up aren't even in the dictionary, and words that are listed (very basic words, too) have no English translation. Not intuitive, not up to date, and completely useless.
