Very useful app

Kent 66

I have been using the app regularly to help me maintain my network. The scan function has been especially useful to identify all devices connected and their ip and physical addresses. The other functions have also been very helpful. In short the app is great!

Does what I need

ScienceOfDirt

I use this to troubleshoot when I'm away from my main computer. It does enough of what dig does to be useful, which is why I purchased it.

Do not proceed without this app

I'm not a paid reviewer. I'm a country girl from Arkansas who happens to love programming. This is the most useful app in my arsenal. (Yes, people from Arkansas can use the word arsenal correctly). I would give it six stars. It will open up a whole new experience on your iPhone. If you don't believe me, try it. If you don't love it, delete it! What's to lose?

No maps

Mike The Geek!

Traceroute seems to work but can not bring up a map. Also when scanning local network get an error message and not all devices found.

Very useful app

When troubleshooting network issues, this quick and easy to locate devices.

Useful and reliable

In many forums and websites, I see questions regarding home networking, addressed with about as much enthusiasm as an oncoming cold. As such,my only complaint with IT Tools is its lack of a help/support section. If you plan to use it, come knowledgeable, or know where you can look you terms and their relationships between each other. Like I said, nobody wants to deal with elementary illnesses. That said, as a self-taught, still learning enthusiast, I find this app to be reliable, full of information, and consistent. Other apps crash on me, or provide only surface information. Not so here. Finally, I am quite leery of many network apps, IT Tools is one that I trust.

Great set of tools

AEB58

This does pretty much everything I need in a concise user interface.

Much better than what I bought for the laptop!

When I want to know what's on my network this is the app that I use. Whom ever put this up together knows when IT person needs. Thank you, David

I Just Say Thank You!

This is "User Friendly" app for a "Non Tech" business woman! I am self employed and use my computer a great deal in the context of delivering my professional services. I suspected my network had been compromised, but I lacked the skills to document the problem. This app is thorough, reliable and has given me the documentation to "show" I.T. Professionals that my computer has been hacked. I no longer have to struggle to describe my problems now that the results of scans and other diagnostics can be printed and proven!

Great app

The hostnames/ip addresses should be cached so they don't have to be re-entered in each time/window. If you have put an ip in once it should drop down the next time you enter an address with the option of deleting it. Like the way the address bar works in Safari. Only 3 stz because of pricetag and lack of cached addresses. Just because I work in tech doesn't mean I expect to pay a lot for a tool like this no matter how functional. Update 3/30/2017 5 stars because the developer actually listened to suggestion and it works great! Thanks
